Has anyone seen this terrifying advert? It gives cult vibes. And the way the echo 'daisy' at the end gives me the creeps! Has anyone else seen it?

It stupid, even by the standards of perfume ads.

MynameisWa · 14/12/2021 19:47

@Chestnut23 Grin very dark!

I love it. I was thinking of buying Daisy because of this. So different to other perfume ads. No glam, no OTT make up, no ridiculous fashion statements, no stupid stunts, no men, no sex , no opulent settings. I love the simplicity and pureness of it.

But do you actually have any idea what it pongs like?!

It’s a perverts wet dream.
Awful advert.

Jellykat · 14/12/2021 20:11

I don't like it visually at all..

However, the music is a cult classic, originally released in 1978 by the post punk band 'Suicide', and i have an original 12" copy Smile

SayAaa · 14/12/2021 20:19

Oh I love it, I want to prance around in a field without a care in the world. Maybe that will happen if I get the perfume.

Somehow I find the daisy add a bit pervy, I’m not even sure why. It just rings alarm bells for me

Jux · 08/03/2022 00:16

Why have they started showing it again. It was awfulin the lead-up to Xmas and it's awful now. Creepy, pervy, culty and utterly vacuous. If I had been in danger of buying the stuff in the first place I'd be far too embarrassed to give it to anyone as a gift and I'd certainly not wear it myself.

I can't see any perfume advert without being reminded of this:

'Between fact & breakfast... I hate you, I hate you, and yet... I hate you'

MistySkiesAfterRain · 08/03/2022 09:06

No more odd than other perfume ads. It has an 80s/90s vibe. I had Daisy in my 20s, loved it.

Perfect Smile. I hate perfume ads.

Yes agree it does give cult vibes. But mostly I think it makes women look stupid. They are skipping around like dopey kids. It's ridiculous. Hate it.

Bluesheep8 · 10/03/2022 14:07

Like or dislike it, it's being talked about. The ad is doing it's job then....

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 10/03/2022 14:09

Watch it again and imagine them repeating 'murder' at the end, instead of 'daisy'. It works quite well Grin

GerMax · 23/03/2022 19:45

No, it’s not! The song is by a group called SUICIDE, and the song is called “Cheree”…not the other way round!

Rubyupbeat · 24/03/2022 04:53

Nothing wrong with it, I quite liked it. As for 'No adults act like that' well, in most adverts real adults wouldn't act like that, it's all selling fantasy.

Australia100 · 27/10/2022 23:22

Creepy. Really. I love this Ad. I think it is totally feelgood and takes me back to childhood playing in sunny fields and the sound of music. I think that if you find it creepy it is saying something about you not the ad.

Giggorata · 28/10/2022 07:56

This is my favourite:
