What was the scandal at your school?

There was the maths teacher who was known to be a bit of a creep, who was caught snagging a pupil in the school hall...never heard from him again.
And the headmistress was caught with her hands in the till, quick retirement and shipped out.
I went to a decent school I promise!

School didn't have any real scandals, though the openly tolerated bullying there should have been one. But on a trip with another youth organisation we were not very well supervised and able to get up to all sorts including underage drinking. One of the leaders ended up sleeping with one of the girls on the trip. Back then, because she was 17 and therefore not underage it was just generally accepted that things happen, though he was redeployed after the girl's parents found out and complained. Now I think it would be on very shaky ground regarding consent given how drunk she was, the fact that he was in a position of authority and how upset she was after. It was a totally awful and improper thing to do.

We had an aerosol death of a young lad a few years below and were warned of the dangers in the pre summer holidays assembly.

There was a married couple both English teachers if I remember rightly and one had an affair with another teacher at the school. They were caught upstairs in the drama studio apparently.

I remember one lad bringing an open can of beer in in his rucksack.

A couple of teen pregnancies.

Our form tutor apparently smoked weed with some of the students during the prom!

Sadly a year 11 killed a year 8 boy after making advances towards him and the younger boy resisted, he was eventually found in a wheely bin near a local park and the year 11 was sentenced to life.

That is one of the most tragic things I’ve ever read in here. Awful.

Our science teacher died. He was married to the German teacher. They had a funeral one afternoon in school time. Instead of letting us go home we had to wait for them to come back from the funeral and teach lessons again.
