My neighbours have their son visiting

HermioneWeasley · 17/10/2020 11:14

My neighbours who are in their 80s have their son visiting INSIDE THEIR HOUSE which is NOT ALLOWED where we are.

Should I call the police, the army or just perform a citizen’s arrest against these lawless rule breakers who will KILL US ALL?

OMG your neighbours son is visiting?!!?!??!

Well thats the human race wiped out then. Inconsiderate arseholes.

RustySpringboard · 17/10/2020 13:16

They're in their 80s. He's their son. I would assume he's in their support bubble before going nuclear. I am also assuming the OP's post is a total piss take.

NeonGenesis · 17/10/2020 13:17

I think you should drink more wine before you act on this. Megabrain is required.

Ontheboardwalk · 17/10/2020 13:17

Ring 111 and ask them to send the army round

Before they arrive knock on and demand they all stand in the middle of the road so they aren’t breaking any indoors/private garden rules

I think its too late for the army. They have one person visiting and thats some seriously shit right there! Get on the blower Putin and Kim Jong Un. Lets hope they can send somebody round to take them out.

BewilderedDoughnut · 17/10/2020 13:22

Mind your own business how about that!

Nat6999 · 17/10/2020 13:24

Mumsnet rules can we have a diagram please?

SniffyMiffy · 17/10/2020 13:26

Hey, you guys! That's my DH you're all plotting against.
He's gone round to sort out their computer which is misbehaving and they need it to order their online groceries.
He's wearing a mask and taken his own coffee in a thermos. He won't go anywhere near them - why would be want to make his own parents sick when they're in such a vulnerable state of health anyway?

SeasonallySnowyPeasant · 17/10/2020 13:28

Run to the nearest airfield, TWOC a plane and aerial-spray their compound with Dettol. It's an emergency.

RTFT - it's clearly a joke post.

Frownette · 17/10/2020 13:39

@Mookie81 I didn't read that one :)

Mollscroll · 17/10/2020 13:41

It’s totally time for a rerun of Dads Army. All the characters make total sense now Grin

Requinblanc · 17/10/2020 13:44

Frankly mind your own business....

At that age they probably rely on carers/outside support and need someone to do things for them.

I presume this is satirical though although I don't quite see the point of your post either way.

Mookie81 · 17/10/2020 13:44

It was a thread about how hysterical many posters on MN are. Then it brought out all the hysterical posters! Grin

TurquoiseDress · 17/10/2020 13:45

no choice here, DIALL 999 this is an emergency!! Grin

HermioneWeasley · 17/10/2020 13:47

Thanks for all the suggestions and support. Disappointed in those saying I should keep out of it, ITS THE LAW. He’s gone now. I hosed him with bleach As he left and my family are taking it turns to stand outside the neighbour’s house ringing a bell shouting “unclean”.

You need to climb onto their roof and line up a boulder to drop on him when he leaves

HelloMissus · 17/10/2020 13:54

Hermione I’m a bit surprised you’re not taking it further. Perhaps strapped yourself to his car roof so you could follow him to his rule-flouting lair and put him to sleep with the fishes.

MusicWithRocksIn1t · 17/10/2020 13:54

Pouring a few pints of disinfectant on top of them all just to be extra careful

PhryneP · 17/10/2020 13:57

Ofsted, Daily Mail, the Pope

Soubriquet · 17/10/2020 13:58

Make sure you paint a big Red Cross on the door too!

SissySpacekAteMyHamster · 17/10/2020 14:00

Yy to big cross on the door.

Well done on the bleaching. Hope you've washed your hands too.

JenniferSantoro · 17/10/2020 14:10

Call the Police. I’m sure they’ve nothing better to do🤨

DameFanny · 17/10/2020 14:23

Number of people reporting on their neighbours - close to zero

Number of people getting their knickers in a twist at the thought of other people reporting on their neighbours - too many to count

Number of people demonstrating that they'd never report on their neighbours oh no but let's be 'funny' about those inferior people who would - oh Christ kill me now

rumandbiscuits · 17/10/2020 14:25

I'm guessing this post is a joke? Blush
