My neighbours have their son visiting

HermioneWeasley · 17/10/2020 11:14

My neighbours who are in their 80s have their son visiting INSIDE THEIR HOUSE which is NOT ALLOWED where we are.

Should I call the police, the army or just perform a citizen’s arrest against these lawless rule breakers who will KILL US ALL?

Block his car in, with penguin bollards, for an authentic MN experience.

movingonup20 · 17/10/2020 11:43

Definitely the sas! Grin

allinadaystwerk · 17/10/2020 11:43

The spud gun idea is the best idea so far
Go on spud gun the evil visitor Grin

Missandra · 17/10/2020 11:43

People, the OP is joking!

Frownette · 17/10/2020 11:46

I don't think I know anyone in the SAS. Where do you find them? Would a herring gull do instead? Or a pepper grinder?

nosswith · 17/10/2020 11:46

If you are going to perform a citizen's arrest, please start at number 10 Downing Street.

RedMarauder · 17/10/2020 11:47

Block his car in while he's inside and prepare a custard pie.

Then interrogate him when he asks you to remove the blockade. If the answer isn't within the rules pie him.

He won't break the rules again and you would have behaved like a good citizen.

Dilbertian · 17/10/2020 11:47

Ooooo, please post the recipe for Commando Drop Rolls. They sound perfect for socially distanced packed lunches.

dudsville · 17/10/2020 11:48

This happened in my neighbourhood just last week. We all died. It was so distressing.

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 17/10/2020 11:50

I'd say dof your hazmat suit and then rugby tackle him on his way out. Best spray your 80 year old neighbour with flash or similar once you've handed him over to the army too.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE CITIZEN.

Frownette · 17/10/2020 11:50

@dudsville my most sincere condolences.

I'll meet you in the afterlife

MsTSwift · 17/10/2020 11:50

Hide in the garden - you may want to wear your camouflage gear I am sure you have this. Basic surveillance then when he emerges a rugby tackle and quick blow to the head should sort this issue. Good luck op!

OrtamLeevz · 17/10/2020 11:50

You need to get all tooled up in Combat Granny gear, and arm yourselves with frozen Aunt Bessie's roast potatoes & Yorkshires. Go round and put a stop to it. Use Werthers Originals if you have to.

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 17/10/2020 11:51

Start with the Army, then move on the Air Force.

Brefugee · 17/10/2020 11:52

Hey Hermione, get over to the thread about breaking the rule of 6 for Christmas and start taking names ready to hand over the list at Christmas.

That will keep you occupied so you can't spy and snitch on your neighbours Grin

Frownette · 17/10/2020 11:52

Has anyone alerted the Home Office...? Or ordered Deliveroo?

MoonDelay · 17/10/2020 11:54

Why are you on Mumsnet? Call the police NOW.

I reckon they're drug dealers too.

Tupperwarelid · 17/10/2020 11:55

He needs to be tazered on the way out.

alreadytaken · 17/10/2020 11:56

Fill your water gun with a disinfectant spray and spray him. You should have done this when you saw him about to go in - do you have no care for your elderly neighbour? I honestly dont know what the world is coming to.

alreadytaken · 17/10/2020 11:57

oh - and this should be under coronavirus, NOT chat.

Fallsballs · 17/10/2020 11:59

@dudsville Flowers RIP

MoonDelay · 17/10/2020 11:59

While you wait for the armed response unit, raid your stash of Zoflora, load up the karcher pressure washer and blitz the joint.

It's all they deserve, scumbags!

supersonicginandtonic · 17/10/2020 12:00

My next door neighbours have just gone out for a walk. She tested positives for Covid on Monday and his test came back positive yesterday 😳

No it's a matter of pressing importance as we're all at risk of immediate expiry.

Someone get a megaphone for a public service announcement.
