My neighbours have their son visiting

My neighbours who are in their 80s have their son visiting INSIDE THEIR HOUSE which is NOT ALLOWED where we are.

Should I call the police, the army or just perform a citizen’s arrest against these lawless rule breakers who will KILL US ALL?

@supersonicginandtonic

My next door neighbours have just gone out for a walk. She tested positives for Covid on Monday and his test came back positive yesterday 😳
Aw, I'm sorry. Hopefully they won't get it badly, most of the time it's mild.
VettiyaIruken · 17/10/2020 12:01

It shows how bad it is at the moment that so many posters actually think you're serious 😂

shinynewapple2020 · 17/10/2020 12:02

@vodkaredbullgirl

For someone who has not posted for many years.

Well done, on your come back.

I think she has - I recognise the user name and my memory's not that good !

Gatekeeper · 17/10/2020 12:04

Police...NOW

or give them a right, dirty look and a good tut

Landlockedinlockdown · 17/10/2020 12:05

@BadDucks

Vigilante rules round here. I’ve decided to soak nerf gun bullets in water and freeze them. Any neighbours seen to break “The Rules” will be shot
Huge amount of thought gone into this one. I like your style @BadDucks! goes off in search of DS’s nerf guns
EmeraldShamrock · 17/10/2020 12:05

March over there, do you have handcuffs?
I think we'll have lots of these threads without the tongue in cheeks.

userxx · 17/10/2020 12:06

I'd give the old dears a Chinese burn, that will teach them.

Warmhandscoldheart · 17/10/2020 12:07

Forgot the police, use your wizardry knowledge on them all

corythatwas · 17/10/2020 12:07

It will need to be a socially distanced citizen's arrest, though, OP. Do you have any barge poles lying around the house? They make ideal instruments in such situations: all you have to do is dangle a pair of handcuffs at the far end of them and instruct the visiting offender to insert his hands.

bibbitybobbitycats · 17/10/2020 12:07

Get round there and sort 'em out.

My neighbours have their son visiting

@shinynewapple2020

so was my reply.

nicky7654 · 17/10/2020 12:15

🤣😂👍

PumpkinetChocolat · 17/10/2020 12:18

It's that attitude that brings more lockdown and more restrictions. Hilarious.

Gamechanger2019 · 17/10/2020 12:20

Get a grip - they’re 80 years old and potentially vulnerable he’s helping his parents.

MushMonster · 17/10/2020 12:24

LOL If you are single and he is hot, get there with you handcuffs and perform a citizens arrest with pattying down and all. Wearing RPE, and full body suit, of course.

(Seriously now, most local rules are allowing care to vulnerable people indoors, in some places bubbles are still allowed)

Some PP neighbours seem to be covid positive but are out for a walk? I think that is reportable indeed

FlouncerInDenial · 17/10/2020 12:26

Can you get your local council to spray the area with pesticides or bleach might do the job?

BlackeyedSusan · 17/10/2020 12:27

yabu op: at least wait until I have had breakfast before announcing that I am going to die because someone has visited an elderly parent. How could you, My breakfast will be ruined as I cry into my branflakes and make them soggy.....

TheOriginalMrsMoss · 17/10/2020 12:27

Perhaps Special Forces could erect an exclusion zone and 'copter in a squad of elite operatives. I'm sure if you call 101 they could help you with that?

Alternatively, if you find they might be a tiny bit busy with other things, mace is your friend. I hear that it's very effective sprayed directly in the face. Or a water cannon - see news clips from Thailand for how to use.

Honeyhoops · 17/10/2020 12:27

Surely the done thing is to take pics with your mobile and post them on Facebook stating how angry you are at the rule breaking, Covid spreading,thoughtless, uncaring, Covidiot, BASTARDS.

Grin You have an evil streak!
MatildaTheCat · 17/10/2020 12:29

Gather a group of people, no greater than 6, and stand two metres apart outside the offending property and bang loudly of saucepans or, even better, metal dustbins until they do the walk of shame and the son leaves.

Then consider daubing their front door with a big red X.

StoppinBy · 17/10/2020 12:29

Set up a razor wire fence around the entire perimeter of the property so he mus reap what he sows and stay there FOREVER!!!!!! haha

WokesFromHome · 17/10/2020 12:29

It warrants a swat team surely.
