Dd made constant demands to hear 'What becomes a star' on Spotify. I tried A star is born, Counting stars, when the stars come out, a sky full of stars, twinkle twinkle little star. She wanted Gangnam Style Angry Apparently 'Oppan Gangnam style' sounds like 'What becomes a star' 🤦‍♀️

WhispersOfWickedness · 07/10/2020 21:26

JWrecks · 07/10/2020 21:33

Mine wanted chacklicks when her licks were chacked - chapstick, lips chapped. We still say chacklicks all these years later.

BabyMoonPie · 07/10/2020 21:45

@LostInTheColonies my DD calls it glu-tac as well! As she's 3 I assumed she'd grow out of it but maybe not!

She calls McDonalds Old McDonalds.

She used to call her elbow her Elmo but sadly she's stopped that one.

Muddypuddlesinthewoods · 07/10/2020 21:51

Ds was learning about organisms in science she announced over dinner that she'd 'enjoyed learning about orgasams'. My eldest dc was hysterical and fell off the chair. An eventful meal it was.

AmericanLemonade · 07/10/2020 21:52

'Mummy, Brain Lady is such a weird name'
'Erm DD, that would be Wayne Brady!' Grin

DD from about 3-5 years always thought the prickles in the fields or on the walls she used to walk along were all Pringles 😂 couldn't bear to correct her x

Choice4567 · 07/10/2020 22:03

Eldest daughter (When age 3) thought squirrels were foxes. But couldn’t pronounce fox. Used to run around screaming fuck at trees

Youngest (2) calls Coco Pops ‘coco cocks’

Sevo7 · 07/10/2020 22:04

Ds was a big fan of Ghostbusters when he was 4 or 5 and used to constantly sing “I ain’t afraid of no goats!” Grin

ChelseeDagger · 07/10/2020 22:06

My DD thinks the road opposite our house is the cuddly sack.

Wheresmycider · 07/10/2020 22:09

My 4yr old loves to eat 'button-up squash'.
This is now what it shall be called in our house forevermore.

"Daddy, where's your hat? You haven't got your hat on" (driving over the bridge from Brooklyn to Manhattan).

"Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, Blessed art thou swimming and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus."

One was my kid, one a friend's. I'm still laughing, years later.

newnamewhosthis · 07/10/2020 22:10

My DD calls her elbow here Oboe 🤣

MaizeBlouse · 07/10/2020 22:10

He currently calls Doritos "to-eat-o's"

EssentialHummus · 07/10/2020 22:10

DD (3) confuses “woman” and “human” with Moomin. She now regularly tells us that she’s an independent Moomin.

EggyPegg · 07/10/2020 22:12

That just conjures up images of a group of crabs at rave. Fantastic.
