To ask why you're awake

I can't sleep and was just wondering why other people would be awake at this hour

@FourPlasticRings this has been my life for nearly 9years. Completely adorable when they are toddlers. Hoping I'll get a sneaky nap in at one point.

My building fire Lara went off half an hour ago so sat in reception waiting for the fire brigade
It goes off a lot for no reason so somebody has checked out, there’s no fire but a couple saw a shifty looking bloke they think has broken a fire alarm pad to get out so rang the police

I look a sight with pjs hoodie trainers and big leopard print coat 😂

Thank you. She's not been out of bed at all today. I've driven over there and left a care package outside her door.

I woke up to the wind howling through the vets in my bedroom window which means there is a window open in the house - of course it was the last window I checked when I went on the hunt. Wide awake now.

Awake because I ate a Greggs vegan roll at lunch time, which contains Quorn and has caused me chronic stomach ache, sweats, runs, lethargy. In and out of sleep. No food makes me ill as much as the evil Quorn.

Oh no @Usernamealreadyexists! That sounds horrid. Are you vegan? Must be a nightmare to be vegan yet allergic to Quorn.

Our 4 month old dog (golden lab) woke me up whining (Never happens) and we have been for a toddle together around the Garden in the pouring rain. Turns how he has an upset stomach .

Am back in bed and can hear him fidgety around in his bed downstairs so am expecting a second call for help soon.

Still at least he called me rather than exploding over his bed and at least it is Sunday tomorrow 🙌🏻

Worrying. I've been out of work since this pandemic was declared. Its just hit me that I am old and past it and now have a huge pointless gap on my CV.
I'm on a bit of a downer and just feeling a bit of despair at the state of the world and my life.

I've just had a swig of night nurse in the hope sleep will come as I'm fed up of feeling so bluergh about everything.

Now it's my turn to be the 38 week pregnant one who can't find a position in which I don't feel horribly sick.
And I just had an anxiety dream that I went into labour all my emergency childcare fell through....
Actually sort of hoping I hang on for induction day on the back of that!

I have Covid and feel horrendous. I’m exhausted but can’t get comfy or sleep :(

Because it's the only time when I feel I have the house to myself atm and can relax, even though I have to tiptoe about.
