What is your favourite television theme music, whether British or foreign ?

Mine is (Jam For) World In Action. A very powerful and thought-provoking piece that suited the nature of the programme perfectly.

I quite liked Barnacle Bill from Blue Peter before the Mike Oldfield arrangement displaced it. A pleasant, jolly hockey sticks kind of number.

CBeebies show me show me theme song. Without all the awful baby talk over it, DS and I used to listen to it in the car driving around and I used to imagine a full orchestra playing it, it gave me enormous joy.

Antiques roadshow used to make our lovely dog (we had in my teens/twenties) sing my DH always says aah remember him singing (he loved that dog even though it wasn't his)
