What's one thing you HATE doing but have to do?

Mine is brushing my teeth. It just feels like such a chore because I'm clearly very lazy.

Ironing.

Peeling eggs, ironing used to be on the list but I do not do that any more.
Almost everything really.

Changing the bedding
Putting laundry away
I will negotiate literally any other job with DP so that he does it instead

The school run 😩
Bringing in washing off the line....and then sorting it... I have no issues putting out, bringing it in just bugs me to hell.

Going to the hairdresser. Can’t believe people see this as a treat..I wish I could leave my head there and come back for it later

haha this made me laugh 😂😂 I love the hairdresser.

I think for me it is the endless cooking. It really got me down in lockdown when no one was going anywhere and they kept just asking what was for dinner. Left to myself I'd live on omelettes and crisps.

Doing medicines.
Washing my hair.
Putting away clothes.
Buying food.

I also hate brushing my teeth. Makes me gag and feel sick. I often retch while brushing my teeth, but I do it anyway.

I also hate pooping. But ain't nothing I can do about that.

Putting the rubbish out fot the dustmen .Specifically putting half a black bag of rubbish into the wheelie bin and pushing the feckin thing to the kerb in time for the collection .
We only ever seem to have one bag yet the feckin rules say it has to go into the wheelie bin as the poor wee souls can not be lifting stuff ( but i have too ) and then i have to drag the thing back up my path and kick it into a corner so its not blocking my door,this is after i have stopped in the middle of the road to move the feckin thing out of my driveway - every bloody week !

Shopping for uniforms for kids and sewing name tags
Tidying up cupboards/drawers for kids' outgrown clothes
Phone calls (I hate talking on the phone) and returning texts
Making medical/dental appointments for myself/kids
Claiming on insurance
Re-mortgaging every 2 bloody years
Shopping online for anything - I have to read all the reviews!
Returning goods purchased online
Getting my teenage dcs to do anything that is remotely useful to them or their future - I just get moaning, feet-dragging, passivity and negativity

Getting dried after a shower/swimming.
Changing our duvet cover.
Putting petrol in the car.

Getting up early. Hate the alarm and being shocked out of sleep.

Putting away laundry. Closely followed by washing up.

Throwing away the plastic seal from the top of a new bottle of milk!

Do you cut it? It's much less likely to kill wildlife if you do.

Emptying the kitchen bin/putting the wheelie bin out. I pretty much never do it. DP always moans that he's 'the only one in this house who empties the bin' and he's spot on .. but seeing as it's all he DOES do, I don't lose any sleep! :D

Having to wash up what other people have left lying around and then buggered off to work, so I have to wash up before I can even start making myself something to eat.

There's not enough internet space for my list 🤣

Current one - the effort it takes to go from the sofa to the bed!

Car insurance

Making both DC's beds. They both have mid-sleepers!
Making lunch and dinner. Boring, boring, boring...I like food but really don't enjoy cooking.
