What sounds do you commonly hear coming from outside your home?

I would say it's mainly people using power tools and birds twerping

Neighbour's dogs.

Car doors banging and my next door neighbour's loud screechy voice.

Silence, power tools , the odd bark

Pigeons, tractors, jets, kids at school playtimes, lawn mowers and occasional accordion playing.

The man across the road banging in his garage as he's rebuilding a mini, pain in the arse at times but he is a lovely bloke so he's excused!

Constant barking, motorbikes with stupid exhausts, the neighbour who sits in their car playing music for hours each day, power tools.

Birds & traffic.

Since lockdown began, neighbours' building works (3 in fairly close proximity).
Ordinarily, nothing much. Birdsong, a very distant hum of traffic if the wind is in that direction. Ditto, the occasional train. Lawn-mowers.

Cars beeping a lot due to awkward junctions on my road, people talking loudly to each other in many different languages, sirens, planes and helicopters overhead.

I like the hustle and bustle!

Next doors kids screaming. All. Day. Long.

The neighbour's hot tub and wind chimes

Distant motorway, birds tweeting, a woodpigeon at the moment, DH pottering in the shed.

Cars, mostly.
Sometimes people.
At the back often birds, sometimes a cricket.
The lift.
And upstairs and downstairs neighbours.

Birds, trees, the sea

My neighbour whistling all day.

All fucking day.

From 06.30-20.00.

I am wfh, so it seems like there is little escape.

I can hear it through the walls as well, which is even more of a fucker.

I HATE it.

Alarms. Burglar alarms, car alarms, constant bloody alarms.

I live on a busy street so traffic from the front and birds and my neighbour's power tools from the back. During the summer general kids playing noise, though there's one boy with a particularly high grating voice, and I hear him above all others.

Sceeeeeaming! I mean its just kids playing type screaming, but its the high pitched screaching that young girls do, and its been a very long summer thanks to lockdown. Been pretty much non-stop since April until about 8/9pm most nights. Its not a bad noise in small doses as kids playing out is a good thing, but now I'm looking forward to the dark nights and cold days for some peace and quiet.

Cars

Police sirens, birds and the ice cream van.

I'm sitting in the conservatory now. I've heard.....
some children laughing and playing 2 or 3 doors down
some sort of a power tool (strimmer maybe?)
someone else mowing their lawn
trains passing
birds singing
a dog yapping

When I'm at the front of the house I'd hear traffic, including sirens quite often and also people walking past somtime who have no idea how to control the volume of their voice.

Quite often we get helicoptors but not heard one today

Dogs, people, birds, cars.

Seagulls and police sirens. We're not near the sea and not in a high crime area. Work that one out!

Gunfire, birds, neighbours dog, and distant traffic. And soldiers marching with accompanying shouting.

Birds, people splashing in the pool and the call to prayer.
