This is the one where the news remains dull, and all the irons you bought in the last thread have developed limescale.

I had a slice of toast and now I feel a bit sick. It must be because I am low carbing.The toast was worth it though,it was slightly cold and hard so the butter went on the way it used to in a 1990s B&B.

I ordered a wheelbarrow. It came today.

I can excel at this thread today as I'm so bored.

I only have a few video calls today so have lapsed into a state of apathy and have to wait around til my bedroom curtain is fixed.

Actually I might text and say please not today as I'm indulging my lethargy. I'd miss out the bit about lethargy.

This morning I boiled the kettle for my second cup of tea, poured the freshly boiled water in the cup and, for a nanosecond, wondered why the tea was so weak. I'd forgotten to put the teabag in...

I’ve done a morning meditation. Going for a slow old woman jog now.

The bins have just been emptied by the dustmen at the usual time in the normal way with absolutely zero excitement involved.

The postman has delivered one brown envelope addressed to DH.

As per usual, we did not win the lottery last night.

The wifi has gone off here AGAIN so my WFH has been interrupted. If its not back on soon I will end up having to make up the lost time after the kids have gone to bed tonight. I have a sore throat and just want to rest

The bin men emptied my green garden waste bin even though I don't have the sticker to say I've purchased this service as I only paid for it yesterday. They aren't meant to empty them if you don't have a valid sticker.

It's cleared out beautifully here now so I could hang the washing out. Happy days.

To balance it out, I've weighed everything but the flour out to make cake and discovered that I only have plain flour. 😭😭😭 (and no baking soda/bicarb to use.) Not very impressed with myself.

Thanks to this thread I have remembered I need to book my cars MOT.

I have decided to get dh to ring them. I don't want to talk to anyone and can't even decide where to go.

Cooking fruit then destining is life changing.

Now need to do my first school run in I don't know how long. DS is year 11 and it was rare I picked him up now I have to take and collect every day. Head is spinning trying to work out how early I have to get up to run first.

I just had a phone call from a friend about meeting tomorrow. I thought the call was over so said bye and hung up at the same time he said love you.

I feel really rude now.

Can I have your plain flour, QuestionableMouse? I have loads of bread flour and raising agents but no cake flour or polenta. I have a fridge glut of lemons that I need to shift. Hmmm. Scrub that. I only have 1 egg too. DS2 learned how to make scrambled eggs in the microwave and ate a week’s supply in 4 days. 🤷‍♂️

I am in the garden making sure HRH Sodding Kitten doesn’t eat any more bees.

My back hurts. My sink is awkward and I've just done the washing up.

I got my medication yesterday (needles) and a tiny yellow sharps bin. Wooo!

The dentist just rang me. They are now able to drill again, so I'm going there next week for them to fix the massive hole where a filling fell out back in April.

In punishment for being too exciting on this thread, my cake stuck to the cake tin. It's out now but the bottom looks very sad.
