I would like mumsnetters to help me pick wedding flowers!

The first one or the second one?

I love the first one with just all white ranunculus with some greenery, but I also love having some color like the panda anemone, with roses. Daffodil

Or something more colourful? Though I dislike pink, I am wondering if my ideal flowers are too white?

I'd go with something with more colour, just white looks like funeral arrangements to me.

Love the first one, it's very wedding-y.

I don't think you need colour and especially not pink if you don't like it.

HermioneWeasley · 16/08/2020 14:37

Second

Palavah · 16/08/2020 14:39

Only out colour in if you want. I think white with green foliage is gorgeous for bridal flowers.

I love the first one.

Nsky · 16/08/2020 14:44

Pink def

misschoices · 16/08/2020 14:45

I love the first one too. Mum and sister keep telling me that I'll regret not having a pop of colour on my day - they think the white flowers white flowers with white linens and white table just won't show well in pics ? I'm starting to worry a bit about not having any colour

What colour are your bridesmaids wearing? Maybe have mostly white with just a few flowers matching their outfits for a splash of colour?

misschoices · 16/08/2020 14:48

It's one day, and I am spending quite a bit on flowers and less on other things because flowers mean a lot to me.

I just love the simple whites with some greenery.

I'm now wondering if I'll regret it looking too white and washed out in pics. Pics are the only things you have left over after the day is over.

Probably too much thinking but flowers are v. Important to me.

I like 1. Maybe alternate white and coloured pots?

Ellmau · 16/08/2020 14:49

Or on a coloured cloth?

CuppaZa · 16/08/2020 14:49

I prefer the colour, but your favourite is also beautiful

honey7 · 16/08/2020 14:51

I like the first one the best. They look very classy.

misschoices · 16/08/2020 14:52

Mum thinks something like this will show up more and be vibrant.

Love picture 1.
Like picture 2.
Have what YOU want.
We only had lily of the valley and it looked and smelled gorgeous.

misschoices · 16/08/2020 14:54

Thank you all! I love the simplicity and elegance of the first one! I hope it shows up in pictures Confused

The first one is lovely. And it has green, so it’s not all white. Ignore Mum Wink

timetest · 16/08/2020 15:00

They are all lovely but the first is my favourite. Green and white looks classy and fresh.

Ughmaybenot · 16/08/2020 15:00

The first one, x10000000

Very similar to the flowers I had, all white with one tiny blue flower as my ‘something blue’ (I didn’t even notice it until the evening, a cute surprise from my florist) and natural, loose greenery. Bridesmaids in sage green, etc. It was, IMO, beautiful and classy.

ComeOnBabyPopMyBubble · 16/08/2020 15:51

I really love the second. Still simple, white and elegant but a bit of colour. The flowers look very pretty and delicate.

The last picture you posted is quite nice too.

But... it's not my wedding. Go for what YOU love, what speaks to you and gives you good vibes/the happy feeling.

wowfudge · 16/08/2020 16:02

When is the wedding? Not all flowers are available all year round. I used to be a florist.

misschoices · 16/08/2020 16:03

@ComeOnBabyPopMyBubble

I'm really liking the second one too. I can't decide Blush

I had all white flowers with greenery, similar looking to the first ones. Both are really lovely whichever you decide on.

Runnerduck34 · 16/08/2020 16:13

I like the flowers in the second photo, the darker centres add interest.
The first flowers are lovely but being completely white they may not stand out as much.
