Slightly embarrassing - what to do with my peanut butter?

I’m in my 40s
I’ve just bought my first jar of peanut butter and am ashamed to admit I’m feeling intimidated by it.
But fuck it, this is anonymous, so I thought I’d ask you all how to eat my peanut butter. Please give me your suggestions.

I’m not into baking, by the way, but am willing to try making something basic. Very basic.

I like peanut butter Hagen Dazs. A lot. Is peanut butter and ice cream a thing?

Should I just eat it on toast? Will it be claggy?

Is there a nice savoury thing I could try? I like chicken satay but wouldn’t order it IYSWIM

What’s the best way to eat it????

I like to stir it into porridge for extra energy and creaminess! yum

I love peanut butter though it has to be crunchy. Heaven in a jar.

I made a dip to go with an Thai style wrap recently. Lime juice, soy sauce, peanut butter and honey all mixed together. Lovely.

@managedmis

FRIED peanut butter sandwich. Like Elvis used to have.

Spread peanut butter thickly on one slice of bread. Top with another slice. Butter both outside slices of bread. Fry in a hot pan on both sides until toasty, drippy and golden. Eat.

I've never tried that. I have to, now Grin

Has to be crunchy peanut butter, though.

West African peanut stew is the best use for it. Delicious

We mix 2 tbsp peanut butter 5tbsp sweet chilli sauce and 1tbsp plus a tiny bit more boiling water to make a satay sauce. You can add more or less to your liking. Marinate chicken in soy sauce, garlic and ginger thread on skewers and bake in oven. Dip in sauce yum

Mix it with golden syrup and a spoonful of water. Heat in microwave to make fantastic hot fudge sauce for icecream.

These peanut butter brownies are delish, so rich! www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/peanut-butter-brownies

And they don't have any dairy, good for allergies/lactose intolerant etc

The only 2 ways i use peanut butter is on toast with jam (as i also find it claggy so jam stops this) and on apple slices.

I did once spread it ontop of a kit kat 😁 was nice but messy

Crumpet, peanut butter, tiny bit of nutella, sliced banana (slightly mushed into the crumpet so it doesn't fall off) + cup of tea. The greatest snack ever invented (if I do say so myself)
