@SpnBaby1967
Now I want to see them about my restless legs which has gotten much worse and developed into a restless bladder too. I've filled in the online form, not sure when I'll hear from them though.

Have you tried Magnesium Glycinate for the restless legs. I take 400mg at night and it has made a huge difference. I still get it occasionally but it used to be every evening.

You may be well beyond that as I know it can be terrible but if you haven't already, it is worth a try.

I havent, usually iron tablets would stave off the worst but its horrific now. Not just legs either, effects my arms too and now my bladder.

My thighs on the tops feel like they're burning!
@LivinLaVidaLoki I like most books by Persephone Books - they're a publisher that specializes in books written by women around the turn of the century. There's something really comforting about them. There's one in particular that feels particularly pertinent now where there's Spanish flu circulating and they're trying to decide whether to go to protest about votes for women Grin

Have you read Elinor Oliphant? It was quite trendy a couple of years ago but it's good.

@BakewellTarts a few colleagues had what were textbook Rona symptoms at the right time but did antibody tests a month ago or so and all came back negative. Weird.

@NowYouListenToMeFella are you ok? Haven't seen you for a while?
Thanks for thinking of me Pink. All good here. Had a friend visiting for the night on Saturday so wasn't on MN too much.

We walked to tesco for wine and realised halfway we forgot masks. Chances it and no one said anything.

Trip to sister was supposed to be this Friday. Definitely not going. I am taking next week off and am planning on some camping with a friend. Looking forward to it. Hoping the weather is ok.

Went to pharmacy who are horrified GP giving us the runaround... now managed to secure at some point a video call from the GP to look at it physically.

Braved Tesco mask-less (was at the pharmacy there and we did need milk anyway) mid-very visible panic attack. Oh my god the looks of revulsion I got from shoppers - surprised I didn't get decked by someone. It's toxic out there.

MaxNormal · 27/07/2020 11:27

@TheOrchidKiller the ice cream actually dilutes the tablet a bit!
We gave some tablet to a visiting Indian colleague once to take home, he emailed to say that he thought Indians made the world's sweetest sweets but he and his wife changed their minds after trying it!

Hello everyone! Just been the the gym for a class, am not mega fit but love the classes and so so good to see familiar faces. The gym could not be doing more to be clean and mitigate risk (I hate the phrase “keep safe” for some reason)-mats and weights disinfected between classes, one way systems and spacing etc. My heart breaks a little for all these companies -shops/gym/travel etc all doing their upmost to follow guidelines and keep their businesses going yet people say they’re not “safe” yet.

IAintentDead · 27/07/2020 11:38

@SpnBaby1967

This is what I use. I get it from Amazon and get the 240 pack size as it's 4 capsules a night.

A bit of info but there's lots more out there

Saw this on my friends Facebook. Just wanted to comment sooooo much "this would be funny, only you won't go out for milk as you've not left your house since March. So I guess you'll both be staying in then. Only she will have memories of a holiday and you will have nothing.

Ooh Loki do it, I dare you!

DominaShantotto · 27/07/2020 11:56

www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-53532479 Dear God this sounds terrible - I've already had contact with uni mental health services about my uni's mask policy but if it's like this - I can't see me making it into campus at all or completing the course.

WTAF? I’d much rather be at home thinking about the fab time I had in Spain than queuing in the Co-op for milk in a mask Grin.
SirSamuelVimesBlackboardMonito · 27/07/2020 11:57

Just a thought on the holidays quarantine thing. Don't we have loads of spare testing capacity now? So you could go on holiday, book a test for the day you get back, go straight from airport to test centre and (providing it's negative) cut your quarantine down to a couple of days?

‘Online pizza night’... again with the online shit. All looks so depressing. I’d be deferring if I was due to go to uni this year.

No, @LivinLaVidaLoki, of course not.

Anyone here got a dog who is fluffy so not hair falling out but clumps. Tried to get into doggy barbers, middle of September so DS got out clippers and spent two hours doing it. He looks gorgeous and I no longer need to hoover daily. Win win.

😸 Sometimes it's so hard to keep fingers off a keyboard isn't it!

@Orangeblossom78

Problem with the website is that I don't live within 2 miles of anywhere doing it and you can't change the radius to include the nice town 3 miles away where we usually go... so now I have to find a real postcode in the centre of that town to search restaurant
