I'm really shocked at some of the stories here about GP's fobbing people off. They should be ashamed of themselves. I think I've spent more time at ours /communicating with ours since lockdown started than before. My youngest has had pre school jabs, I've had a blood test to check my thyroid levels (and follow up phone appt because they aren't right), my eldest has had tonsillitis 4 times, and an allergic reaction to the AB's once, and each time I've waited a maximum of a few hours for a phone call from the doctor, where they discussed it, looked at photos where necessary, and prescribed relevant meds. All done with the minimum of fuss, as if they'd always operated this way. It's really isnt that hard though, or shouldn't be...
The local shopping centre though...ffs. I went on Saturday. Saw nobody else in the car park. Yet they've implemented a one way pedestrian system round the car park with some stairwells blocked off, and confusing arrows on the floor. Every other lift has been put out of order - why, I'm not sure, because it just means there are fewer lifts available and therefore - if there had been any people- more people waiting for them in one place. I wouldn't have bothered using the lift, except on the way back in (a different way to the way I came out, naturally, because of the one way system), I couldn't find the stairs I was supposed to use, because the arrows on the floor were too confusing. It was madness, particularly since there was barely anyone else there!
