As if noone has said Barry Island. Or Porthcawl. How rude.

WingBingo · 09/07/2020 19:53

Easy, Barafundle Bay.

AIMD · 09/07/2020 19:58

Broad haven is nice and poppet sands is beautiful too. Personally Tenby is too close to the town for my liking.
A lot of the beaches in Pembrokeshire can have strong waves and there are dangerous areas. You do have to be careful if you are planning on surfing or anything like that.

FedUpAtHomeTroels · 09/07/2020 19:59

Black Rock Sands.

Another one for rosneigr!

Cakecrumbsinmybra · 09/07/2020 20:00

Sshhhh, stop giving them all away! 😜

Scion286 · 09/07/2020 20:00

Actually, I can’t believe I’m saying this but cancel that suggestion of Barafundle. We did the most beautiful walk along Bosherton Lily ponds-you follow the ponds and eventually come out onto an amazing beach, really lovely.

Afonavon · 09/07/2020 20:18

Splott beach!

Ihatemyseleffordoingthis · 09/07/2020 20:22

You are all wrong it's Porth Oer or Llanbedrog

(I also love Mwnt and Llangrannog)

Witchend · 09/07/2020 20:25

Depends what you want.
My parents think Penllech is the best ever. It has everything they want.

No toiley
No shop
Free car park with lots of spaces
2 mile walk down the cliff to the beach
1 mile walk along the sands
No one else - - stupid enough--

SpeedofaSloth · 09/07/2020 20:28

That's Braod Haven South, @Scion286

SpeedofaSloth · 09/07/2020 20:29

I think, anyway - you definitely can walk from Bosherston to Broad Haven, it's along but flat walk vs a shorter but steep walk down the dunes.

I was going to say Llanbedrog. Had lovely holidays there when I was little Smile
simonthedog · 09/07/2020 20:33

Caswell or Tenby. Like someone else said Three Cliffs is stunning but has dangerous rip tides.

Di11y · 09/07/2020 20:33

Saundersfoot

wobblebot · 09/07/2020 20:34

@PercyKirke

Mwnt. Been there dozens of times. No idea how to pronounce it.
I came on to say mwnt too

(Pronounced munt)

Plus the little church at the top is so beautiful

Yes, it is. And thanks for the pronunciation lesson.
