I Just commented on another thread and was so pleased to see a few MN from this area! Im a bit surprised tbh, I'm not sure why haha.

My spiritual home, been going at least annually since I was 6 so that’s 28 years- both my parents ashes were scattered in Tenby harbour (off the fishing rock by the old lifeboat station).

MinnieMountain · 07/07/2020 06:52

I moved away too. Didn't come back after university.

We seriously looked at moving to St Davids, where I had most of my schooling, last year but DS is too attached to MIL and we struggled to get WFH jobs. One day...

It's funny how it's still "home" though.

JacobReesMogadishu · 07/07/2020 07:04

I used to live just outside Tenby.

ContessaferJones · 07/07/2020 08:33

My mum was from there :) lots of childhood memories of pootling about in Harford/at the beach (Broad Haven for preference).

ExplodingCarrots · 07/07/2020 09:04

Me !
South of the county. Love it. 5 minute drive to the beach, loads to do , so peaceful.

Jellykat · 07/07/2020 21:44

Lollypop4 that's a coincidence, because so do i !!
I would bet you anything we have people in common.. Smile

There were another 2x MNers in these parts, but unsure if they're still here..

Jellykat · 07/07/2020 21:46

Oo Hello to Gordonsgrin and ExplodingCarrots
< waves manically >

OohKittens · 07/07/2020 21:49

Hello all Grin I've lived here all my life

UltimateWednesday · 07/07/2020 22:02

I lived in a village just outside Pembroke as a small child. We left when I was 5. I've always insisted that the church clock had a blue face but everyone said I had imagined it. But we recently went back, 40 years on and it does!

Sorry, completely irrelevant to the post!

LostInWales · 07/07/2020 22:07

Hello, I've 'spoken' to JellyKat before. There's a handful of us up here in the north of the county. Although there aren't exactly tonnes of people round here are there so probably not that many MNers. Not come across anyone with children in the same secondary as mine yet.

mulberrybag · 07/07/2020 22:07

I grew up in Fishguard. Moved away when I was early twenties and still pine for the place. It definitely is 'home' to me. I always feel too sad to visit because I don't want to feel homesick afterwards Confused

Homemadearmy · 07/07/2020 22:27

Waves from Carmarthenshire where I live now, but I grew up in a small town that is now on the border although it was Dyfed then

LostInWales · 07/07/2020 22:30

Ooh, which border Homemade? I'm on the northern border.

Mammaaof · 07/07/2020 22:31

I'm from Llanelli x

Gordonsgrin · 07/07/2020 22:48

Lovely to find kindred spirits. @Homemadearmy, I am Carms too, v v close to the Pembs border. Hello back to @Jellykat. West is best!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

MsAnnThropic · 07/07/2020 22:49

I'm from Fishguard, but not living in Pembs at the moment.

Tweacle · 07/07/2020 22:50

Waves from Pembroke. Love it here

Floonthewall · 07/07/2020 22:56

I'm down south.
I'll be looking out for that blue clock face now @UltimateWednesday. Sounds like a treasure hunt clue ☺

StringyPotatoes · 07/07/2020 23:01

I grew up in South Pembs then moved away at 18 for university. Most of my family are still there though so I go back regularly and still consider it home. My mum is there and knocking about in MN too!

tinkletilt · 07/07/2020 23:02

Hi, I moved ‘back home’ 3 years ago after 20 odd years in Cardiff. It’s great to be back.
