How many unread emails have you got in your inbox?

A mysterious maverick known only as “Joey M.”, from Rhode Island, has managed to amass 4,294,967,256 unread emails in his inbox. He is the current world record holder for most unread emails

I thought I was bad with 1,466 but the above makes me feel much better about it. Seriously, what are the chances of one of them being from a solicitor about some unknown aunt leaving me a million pounds?

Most are from Debenhams offering me 30% off in their never ending sale.

I could just ditch them all in one go couldn't I?

I don't know how to check how many are unread, but I would guess tens of thousands.

This thread makes my teeth itch! Why would you have any unread emails?
I read and delete, unsubscribing from unneeded mailing lists along the way.

I thought I was bad with 500. Feeling slightly better now!

I have 8 emails (all read) in my email box now. They are all things I need to deal with this week, once I’ve dealt with them I delete it save the email into a folder.

I couldn’t deal with a notification saying 41k emails, my head would explode! 🙈

My family are appalled , good to know that It's actually a low number

9 in my inbox, 32 in my social media folder, 555 in my promotions folder. I use my email for work so I can't have loads of unread emails otherwise I start to miss important messages, but I also get a lot of journal alerts, newsletters etc and they go in the promotions folder which gets a clean up every few months.

Personal friends and family inbox - 0.

Admin inbox over 7,000.

I get so many emails, and most of them can be dealt with by the subject line alone. I don’t delete anything though, because the nature of my job means sometimes I need something later, that I don’t know at the time.

Last time I checked around 157,000. I have a bit of a purge every so often and unsubscribe from things. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Thousands and they are all annoying spam. I don't get unexpected emails so would never miss one. When I know I'm going to get an email at some point I just search it.

I only ever get shit though.

127 unread. 31667 in total. I never used to bother deleting, I do it once or twice a week now. Very rarely have trouble finding one using the search function. I check them several times a day so I never miss anything.

But my work email is clear, not sure why I can manage one but not the other.
