I really don‘t think this is a Democrat vs GOP issue. Pretty sure Epstein had ‚friends‘ in high places that he could blackmail across the isle. Heck, keeping it real, pretty much high society across NY and beyond saw him while in presence of minors who were clearly ‚girlfriends‘ and didn‘t bat an eye lid. That alone should land them all in jail for what I care.

(MLK = Martin Luther King. My point was that as far as assassinations of high profile people go, there have been greater tragedies than the potential end of Ghislaine. Except that some perps would then get off the hook, obviously).

I can’t work out how you are pronouncing that from the way you’ve written it. I still have no idea how it is really said, though. I’ve heard at least 3 versions on the news from different presenters, reporters and interviewees.

GihLane is how I've heard it pronounced on tv news bulletins now.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist by any stretch but I think the chances of Ghislane dying of covid before the end of the year are pretty high.

I've no legal knowledge, but surely allowing prosecutors and the FBI to blab is an absolute guarantee that Maxwell's defence will shout "unfair trial"?

I'm just wondering if this is a planned loophole, as in "the judge made a mistake, but we can't possibly try Maxwell now ... sorry"

I guess, the most surprising aspect of the whole prince Andrew thing is that this guy, who has basically done nothing but be born into a family that once had considerable political power, was considered a worthy target of Epstein‘s blackmail operation.
