I'd hope the pantomime delay in arresting her is an indication they've built up a lot of evidence that can't disappear overnight.

I thought they had already put a formal request in to question Andrew , effectively extradite, to the British government and the queen said no. That was rumoured for awhile.

I would say ghislaine being arrested is a risk for him. She may be able to reduce her sentence if she stands witness, if of course he is guilty. If he is not, he has nothing to worry about.

As far as I know (which isn't much) he isn't (yet) accused of anything, and they want to interview him in their version of under caution. And I don't think the US-UK treaty covers extraditing a witness.

If he were to be accused of a crime, then it's a different ball game. They can request his extradition and it would be rubber stamped and off he goes, like all the other people the UK has happily packed off to The Land Of The Free (not you).
