Caught a George Michael documentary on All 4 and just reminded me what an amazing singer and songwriter he really was.
I love Cowboys and Angels, the introduction is just perfection. What's your favourite?

I love everything he has ever sung. He wrote the most amazing music and no one else can match his voice.

I know he didn’t write it, but the way he sang “long and winding road” chills every time

I love just about all his songs. Such a lovely voice. I was lucky enough to see him twice (which it had been more) and his voice live is just amazing.

If I had to choose I think it would be Careless Whisper (I can't believe he wrote this when he was 17) and Different Corner.

Aw, thanks OP for reminding me to listen again to George. dH& I fell in love with Wham as our background, and literally matured with George. Love his music. Somebody to love gives me chills, and his duet withElton on ‘don’t let the sun go down on me’ is just stunning.
