I was wondering today about a few old posters that either left or I haven’t seen in ages
Riven , eatshitderek (i think that’s what the username was) and another one I can’t remember the full name ghost something who was in temp accommodation I think ?
Does anyone else ever wonder about posters they dont see anymore

Expatinscotland is fine, or was, when I last had lunch with her. It's almost 8 years since her dd1 died. I'm sure she'd be glad to be missed!

Who was the poster who was very helpful to expat when her dd was ill, I think she lived in Partick but she didn't have kids?

Was it giraffe something ? I remember did she sometimes update threads for expat ?

I think of MartianBishop still - she was lovely, and very sadly lost her DH. Such a nice woman. I hope she's ok.
Someone mentioned Claig - back when I had the strength to post on the politics topics Claig used to drive me nuts. But in a nice, challenging way. We were polar opposites but had the odd laugh. It feels like that wouldn't happen these days.

WorraLiberty is around, she was on a thread the other day. ChaosTrulyReigns occasionally pops in too, I saw her post recently.

Several of the others mentioned have name changed and are still around.

I remember one called Ormirion who seemed a sensible type.

Catthiefkeith some of her threads were hilarious. So sad that she passed away so young.
Bandagesandbiscuits, the doctor with a newborn baby who was diagnosed with cancer. I will never forget the fear she had on her last night at home that she would never be back there again. Sadly she was right. Her threads are still on here. She was so brave and she pops into my head from time to time.

Bonsoir - last time I saw her mentioned it was in reference to her being very unwell. I hope she's ok.

BitofFun - there's a poster currently with this name but they don't seem anything like the old BoF so I don't know.

SolidGoldBrass - had so many valid things to say but was SO superior and enlightened that it totally undermined her points.

In my mind, Marmalade/Bupcakes/Reality/Bluntness are all the same poster.

Could never bear EatShitDerek and the fawning over her. The threads where she would pretend to be pissed and spell everything wrong were cringe-inducing.

Was it Cod who had the thread about how at a size 14 they were so fat that they couldn't wipe their own arse?? That one always stuck in my mind 🤔.

Mrsdevere and maryz were lovely, why did they go?
