I use Georgia size 10 at the moment for work. I fancy a change. What do you use?

I use Times New Roman as it's a standard over a few places

Lostnameperson · 13/06/2020 09:49

Got to be arial! For some reason I find TNR not very easy on the eye, don’t like it for reading.

SpeedofaSloth · 13/06/2020 09:49

I like arial, it looks clean to me.

PlausibleSuit · 13/06/2020 09:50

Verdana is my pick

tapdancingmum · 13/06/2020 09:51

I was told to use Arial 12 for my degree as it's clean and easier to read if you were dyslexic.

Roo2012 · 13/06/2020 09:51

Use Arial for work. 11pt for email and 12pt for other work. Ideally 14pt is recommended as recognised as being more accessible for wider range of people with potential sight difficulties.
Depending on audience there are a range of dyslexia friendly fonts, comic sans is one of these, but comic sans makes me irrationally annoyed!

SillyBub · 13/06/2020 09:52

Calibri for me.

4amWitchingHour · 13/06/2020 09:54

Arial for documents. Calibri is the default in my Outlook and I can't be bothered to change it, plus it would be different to everyone else in my organisation which would mean the text in email chains wouldn't match and I'd get irrationally annoyed.

CourageCamille · 13/06/2020 09:56

Arial for work, Bookman Old Style at home. I like a bit of serif on my lettering.

MrsSchadenfreude · 13/06/2020 09:57

Arial. Hate TNR.

jokolo · 13/06/2020 09:58

fonts.google.com/specimen/Lora

Kopsy · 13/06/2020 09:58

We use Tahoma at work.

ouch321 · 13/06/2020 09:59

May I reccomend Candara?

MonsterChopz · 13/06/2020 09:59

Calibri - 10pt for spreadsheet and 11 pt for emails or word 😂

birdling · 13/06/2020 09:59

Tahoma

HPandTheNeverEndingBedtime · 13/06/2020 10:00

Calibri 14

Holeywalls · 13/06/2020 10:01

Calibri here too

MrBennsshop · 13/06/2020 10:02

Arial here too. And I like to use 10.5 in terms of size. That probably sounds bonkers, but it just looks right to me.

TheCatsHouse · 13/06/2020 10:03

Arial for letters - for some reason much easier to read than calibri which is the default on email

DidoLamenting · 13/06/2020 10:04

Office default is Calibri 11- I don't like it. I think it looks a bit casual for formal correspondence.

We are also told that letters and documents should not be justified but a small group of us have rebelled over that. I think unjustified text looks awful.

bluerad · 13/06/2020 10:04

Another Calibri user here

Thurlow · 13/06/2020 10:04

Gills Sans for work, which is alright.

Footlight for writing, as it makes me imagine what a printed page might look like

FoxtrotOscarPoppet · 13/06/2020 10:06

Calibri

MuseumOfYou · 13/06/2020 10:06

Calibri here.

mackerella · 13/06/2020 10:08

I use Arial or Calibri for "non-designed" documents like notes or minutes (anything created in Word or Excel) and Myriad for "official" things like conference programmes, posters, brochures, etc (basically, anything I make in InDesign or PowerPoint) as it's our "house" typeface.
