Wearing trainers or closed-toe sandals without socks, because I did it all the time as a child.

Having my eyes covered for a game or surprise makes me really happy. If I see children playing blind man's buff, pin the tail or keeper of the keys, I want to play too! Before my birthday or other present-giving occasion, my DH indulges me by wrapping my presents in front of me. While he does this, I'm blindfolded and wailing "I can't seeeeeee!", but I'm as happy as can be.

Clothes dried outdoors

Is doing laundry childish? It seems very adult to me!

Nibbling all round the edge of a Crunchie then biting the thick top off and scraping the thin bottom off with my teeth, before finally eating the bald honeycomb bit.

Usborne books, especially science ones, or about making things. I had loads of them as a child, and I look for them in charity shops all the time.

Billy bear meat too. I still but it for.work sandwiches (and hide it in the fridge because I'm slightly embarrassed).

@NowWashYourHandsPlease

Ahem What are Haribo Jelly Men? I feel I may be missing out on something important here.

You are right @BackforGood about whisk licking at any age Grin

My grandma used to give me the whisk to lick when I was little and we baked together, so it's has very happy nostalgic memories for me Smile

Bubbles. I have three bubble wands sat by the utility sink at the moment, that I’ve been using to blow bubbles for the cat to chase.

Jumping out of dark corners or from behind doors to make DH jump. He has a very high pitched scream.

flannelette sheets!

SingleHandSue · 05/06/2020 23:20

I started reading this thread whilst eating Jaffa cakes nibbling the chocolate off the edges!

Something I utterly love is puppets and cuddly toys talking to me.

DH and my teenage DS’s are amazing and totally humour my love of this. They regularly poke teddies around the door to talk to me. It’s even funnier when they swear.

I have a little gang of favourite cuddly toys who have entire lives played out to me as their audience.

There’s Moo the very camp cow who fancies DH. Clive and Ivy the pineapples who go on adventures together, and Scaramouch the elephant who keeps an eye on them all.

DS2 often sneaks Clive away to record short films then sends them to me when I’m drunk!

I’m a child.

Dozer · 05/06/2020 23:24

That sounds fabulous, singlehandsue
