@CountFosco

I'm going to lower the tone somewhat Grin

Farts, they always make me laugh.

Oh me too. And DH. Grin

Puddle jumping, skipping, squelch mud and running upstairs on my hands and feet. I'm 45.

Bookoffacts · 05/06/2020 19:59

Stationery
Lego
Balloons (for kids birthdays but I secretly love them)
Condensed milk. Hadn't had it since 1980s but saw it on shelf in sainsburys and bought on impulse in big shop. It was bliss on strawberries.

*squelchy

Patsypie · 05/06/2020 20:04

@Aroundtheworldin80moves I'd be careful about telling people you like 'pegging' people!

PleaseChooseAnother · 05/06/2020 20:07

Paddling in the sea! I have walked back to the car in bare feet while my feet dry so many times because I can't stop myself! I'll take my shoes off but forget about having to get dry again. My husband just rolls his eyes - he knows what to expect now

AdaColeman · 05/06/2020 20:08

Eating jelly.

Lindt chocolate bunny or Father Christmas.

Pots of bubbles.

Reading The Swish of the Curtain or The Eagle of the Ninth.

windowmystery · 05/06/2020 20:11

Cheese strings, seeing sausage dogs out in the park, Disney and feeding the ducks. To name a few.

AdaColeman · 05/06/2020 20:13

@PleaseChooseAnother, you can’t beat a good plodge, especially if it includes collecting shells!

daisyjgrey · 05/06/2020 20:15

Being stupid while playing board games- driving the boat through the monopoly board, or repeatedly knocking dds dog character over and telling her it died.

@Ooopsijustsnarted This made me laugh. Fantastic.

BackforGood · 05/06/2020 20:16

Licking cake mixture off the whisk

Not a 'child' thing surely ? That's just the best bit of making a cake for ALL ages Smile

daisyjgrey · 05/06/2020 20:18

A Dairylea lunchable.

Metallic gel pens.

Winnie the Pooh and Wind in the Willows on audiobook.

Sandwiches cut into little squares ('poorly sandwiches' when I was little, usually strawberry jam).

Squirty cream applied directly into mouth.

sleepyhead · 05/06/2020 20:22

There is nothing better in life than wring on the sole of your slipper with a biro.

sleepyhead · 05/06/2020 20:22

Writing!

Spidey66 · 05/06/2020 20:23

Playing bubbles with my dog. She loves it and her happiness makes me happy.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 05/06/2020 20:27

Swimming underwater in the pool.
Making a snowball.
Condensed milk-oh yes! When I was kid in Australia, you could buy it in tubes! Imagine.
We got new whiteboards at school and one of the teachers let me peel the protective film off hers. I wish I’d filmed it.

TodayIHaveGotThis · 05/06/2020 20:27

Many of the things mentioned aren't remotely 'childish' Confused

daisyjgrey · 05/06/2020 20:44

@TodayIHaveGotThis do the technicalities matter?

Bloodybridget · 05/06/2020 20:52

@SoMuchToBits here's a dolls house granny having a happy lockdown birthday. I did it to commemorate DP's birthday, for our DGCs.

rosegoldwatcher · 05/06/2020 20:55

I ate (almost) a whole packet of Sour Patch Kids sweets whilst reading the Donald Trump thread.
It didn't help.

SoMuchToBits · 05/06/2020 20:56

Love that @Bloodybridget ! Grin

pandarific · 05/06/2020 21:01

Oh my god, there is an animated Mr Bean on amazon prime. It's hilarious and delightful. Ds and I watch it every morning at the moment - really, it's just for me.

Teddy is in it! And sometimes the Queen.i

dementedma · 05/06/2020 21:01

Paddling in the sea
Listening to shells
Being barefoot
Blowing bubbles
Bubble wrap
Rattling a stick along railings
Breaking of icicles and licking them
Blowing dandelion clocks
Farting in the bath
Sucking in long strands of spaghetti like worms

petermaysawthefuture · 05/06/2020 21:08

@Patsypie I was about to say the same thing! Grin

Greengrapes1357 · 05/06/2020 21:14

Dolly mixtures,
Hot chocolate with marshmallows on a snowy day,
Diet coke and a bag of crisps in a pub garden.
