They were hoping for 3rd time lucky after the hotly anticipated Mother's Day and Easter 'spikes' didn't materialise. The dementors were disappointed yet again.

The figures aren't low because of lockdown. A 40yo for example has the same chance of dying if they catch covid whether we're in lockdown or not!

Our M&S had white bread flour in its bakery, this morning. They've had a steady supply of SR for a week now and Tesco had 4 different types of plain plus its value "stock well" brand SR.

It's brown or granary for that I've struggled to get. I usually mix doves malthouse and wholemeal. I had a couple of bags of wholemeal, already but managed to get some brown multigrain flour from amazon. 6kg of it, so it has better be nice.

Means I can go back to making most of my bread, now.

So we can go to market stalls, car showrooms, kids can go back to school and even visit department stalls middle of June but still no mention of when we can see family? Am I missing something??

You've been a welcome voice here. I would see you on threads, saying what I was thinking about lockdown at a time where not many others were (and we didn't have this thread to congregate on).

It was obvious that the first poster on that thread was in cahoots with the original poster, as notably they were the only person in agreement with them.

I don't think you could share an opposing viewpoint on something as big as lockdown / coronavirus without ruffling a few feathers. But for what it's worth I'm glad you have.

The reason MNHQ deleted everything is that it should never have been posted in the first place, it's trolling and personal attacks and completely against the guidelines.

I suspect (purely speculation) that he's giving bits and pieces each day but will save that for Thursday's big announcement.

In comparison when there was that big Sunday night waste of time announcement he announced less change that he has done in the past two week day briefings this week.

Aagh, just engaged in a debate with some dementors on Nextdoor who have expressed surprise, bordering on horror, that a lot of people have been going for walks in the local area. @LilacTree11 I don’t really know much about the workings of MN but it’s possible they delete all threads relating to these kinds of issues to avoid negative PR (as you will know from the number of Mumsnet threads that become Daily Mail and Mirror articles there are always journalists watching).

At a time when MN is begging for cash to survive the last thing they need is a bored journalist putting together a MN bullying piece.

I would just take comfort knowing you got lots of support in the thread and it’s now all deleted so can just move on xx
