farting there is usually a time limit for making changes, so that might be what it is. You should have an email though confirming your order.

PickAChew · 22/05/2020 22:00

Don't normally clap but temped to play it out loud on Thursday :o

BakewellTarts · 22/05/2020 22:01

@fartingsparkles sorry no idea as I don't use Tescos. My online supermarket sends me an email though to confirm what I've done. I have messed up on occassion and not got the email so thats how I check now. Do you have a confirmation email?

LilacTree1 · 22/05/2020 22:03

I’m hoping the Cummings story is a strategically timed release

But then, lord knows what he’s going to do with his big data agencies

@Jourdain11, damn & Flowers.
Hope the pizza therapy helps tonight. "Trials of pepperoni have shown..., etc." You will feel more in control after discussion of options for the next treatment. Wishing you well very hard indeed.

RunningNinja79 · 22/05/2020 22:06

@Willitneverend Interestingly, the dementor on my FB comes from the North East of England. Is it particularly bad for dementoring there?

I'm in the North East. I've left facebook last week. Can't quite get over that its been a week. I have nearly clicked on it a couple of times, but stopped myself. Really could do without the extra dementors on there. Though I must admit I am tempted to go back on just to update my status every time I do some perfectly allowed, but frowned upon activity.

Sorry about the news @Jourdain11

I should have been going to Liverpool today for the weekend. It would have been my first ever trip away without the family. DS is 15. Its now deferred until next year

On a positive news DS had a virtual lesson today and the teacher told him that it was likely they would be going in from the 8th June for 2 days a week. I assume I'll hear more details nearer the time. If anything it wil just give his sisters a bit of a break from him and get him out of the house. He's very vocal about his annoyance with lockdown. I think he's just missing watching football TBH.

Also a letter from DD2's school gave their dates which mentioned when the relevant years are going back. Unfortunately DD2 is in year 3 so whether or not she goes I really dont know, but at least it looks like they are trying to open up.

Going on a murderous trip tomorrow. Actually breaking the rules (not just the guidance) tomorrow. Going to sit in my parents garden for an hour or two then having KFC on the way home. Think this may be the only time we do it before we are allowed, that is assuming we will be allowed to visit other people at some point in the next couple of months.

Dowser · 22/05/2020 22:07

I’m having a brain fart
What percentage of 93,000 is 320 please

Dowser · 22/05/2020 22:08

There’s quite a few of us in the north east 👍

AnotherEmma · 22/05/2020 22:08

0.3%

RunningNinja79 · 22/05/2020 22:09

320 divide by 93000 times 100 is 0.344

Weedsnseeds1 · 22/05/2020 22:10

0.344080215 %

LilacTree1 · 22/05/2020 22:13

My mother has just asked me if she thinks it’s okay to visit an 85 year old friend in severe decline.

Of course I think it’s fine but I don’t want mum being stopped by police.

I suggested she wait till schools back....surely if schools go back some of this nonsense has to end?

OP posts:
RunningNinja79 · 22/05/2020 22:17

Lilac Could it be classed as a medical need? your mother is giving someone vulnerable some assisstance?

I was thinking about this earlier and I remembered the memes that was set in a prison and it was what are you in for? Going for my second jog of the day. Now the answer would be visiting my parents.

Also on a side note, the fines that have been given out so far. What have they been for? Visiting people or not sticking to social distancing out and about? Say a group of people getting together on a beach/park etc? Or have people actually been fined for going to another house? Is there something that tells us?

Mascotte · 22/05/2020 22:20

@LilacTree1 you're allowed to visit vulnerable people for assistance so I'd say just go. I think it could be ages til schools are back and it's not really relevant anyway.

pollyhemlock · 22/05/2020 22:21

Just looking at Twitter ( a mistake, obviously) and genuinely baffled by the number of leftish people I follow who suddenly seem to think that education really isn’t that important and that it will be fine if children are out of school until at least September. Because, you know, infection, kids spreading, etc etc. How did this happen ?

Pertella · 22/05/2020 22:22

Bourdain FlowersCakeWine

Mascotte · 22/05/2020 22:23

@pollyhemlock it's really weird! On my sm the more left the more dementor. It's all a billionaires conspiracy to get workers back apparently

Dowser · 22/05/2020 22:23

Nihiloxa
I’d love a gardener to adopt me
My third husband will be well vetted and will definitely be a gardener.

Re aunt and breakin..she’s in hospital now as she was poorly, which was why my Cousin was keeping an even closer eye on the camera
Thief snatched the camera But they’ve got stills

Jourdain ...I’d be quite happy to give up all my holidays And treats for this year if I thought that shitty leukaemia would do one
Or
I know a couple of real life bastards, perhaps we could send it to them

Please enjoy this evening
Cry, scream and howl if you need to..then come out fighting
🍷🌹💪🏼

Pertella · 22/05/2020 22:24

Fucksake!

Jourdain 🤦‍♀️

justasking111 · 22/05/2020 22:24

Gosh Cummings has been a bad boy reading the article, not so much that he broke lockdown more that the story in the spectator was a blatant lie, he was not in London but Durham. His wife works for the spectator so she actually had the lie printed. Arrogant much.

Dowser · 22/05/2020 22:25

Thank you weed seeds..that’s the percentage of cases in our town population, yet we are supposed to have it really bad

fartingsparkles · 22/05/2020 22:26

Thanks @Great and @Bakewell :) ended up calling the info line and they said it will all go through, just that payment will be taken tomorrow.

I don't know why, but am feel on the verge of a whinge tonight. I think its just the groundhog day ness of everything getting to me.

I am going to take dcs for a little drive tomorrow and drop a birthday card and present off at a friend's. And get the Tesco order of course!

Dowser · 22/05/2020 22:28

Is 0.3 per cent high?

LilacTree1 · 22/05/2020 22:31

Re mum visiting her friend

No, I don’t think one doddery 82 year old visiting a doddery 85 year old could be classed as care....unless they put it under mental health?

But I know mum would forever damaged by an encounter with the police, so that’s why I said to wait. Just a week or so, if there still no relaxation then I’ll go with her and handle the police if someone calls them.

Dowser - I was shocked to hear the definition of epidemic is 0.4

I thought it ought to be about 30%. But no.

Ridiculous tines we live in. Imagine if we counted everyone who had a bad cold/cough bug each winter.
