What's been your weirdest purchase lately?

As the title suggests... let's hear about your random midnight online purchases. I think my most unnecessary (perhaps not weird) purchase has been one of those pancake batter dispensers, simply because I was fed up of what a mess we made on the ONE Sunday in forever that we made pancakes.

Half a kilo of fresh yeast, normally buy 25g packs. Slighly tipsy.... so... It's much more than I realised - luckily after some research you can freeze it!

Very keen baker normally, but using the time to try more complex patisserie.

5kg soapnuts because they were about half the price I usually pay for them.

I use about 1.5kg a year so I'm not entirely sure where I am going to put 5kg

A humungous bag of money nuts for our squirrel family - squidly and didly. They are putting weight on in lockdown like the humans.

Just need time to read it now!!. Have cleared out the understairs cupboard.. Maybe if I find myself a torch....

An ice cream scoop. Our old one was starting to have the metal flake off. We've been going to buy one for years, but never saw one we'd pay the money for. Last year, in the US, we bought a lovely one, with the intention of bringing it home with us, but we needed it because the villa we were in didn't have one! Of course, it was in the dishwasher being washed when we left...
