Do you have any landmarks you look out for so you know you are near home?

As kids when the power satiation’s and the pit came into view we always knew we were nearly home. Now it’s when we can see the ‘golf ball’, which is a radar station but from a distance looks like a giant golf ball, you can see it from miles away.

As children we holidayed in Robin Hoods Bay loads as my Godmother has a cottage there. Fylingdale golf balls always meant we were nearly there Grin happy days

When we went to my Grandparents we always went over this rickety draw bridge. I used to hate going over it I always thought it would either open or we would somehow fall in! There was a humpback bridge on the same road we used to try and get our Dad to drive fast over it. Grin, when we had gone over those bridges we were more than half way there.
