Crap Films that you love

Ive just spent the last hour on Youtube watching songs from Grease 2, which was my favourite film when I was about 10 and which I watched over and over again. I still remember all of the words Blush. I admit its appalling, but I love it, its like crack to me and if I had to be brually honest I prefer it over the original Grease (which I also love, but its not considered crap is it).

I also love Holiday on The Buses. Which is sexist rubbish obviously but always makes me laugh hysterically. So awful its good and it was filmed in Prestatyn!

Others I love are Supergirl the 1984 version, the 2004 version of Phantom of the Opera and Rocky 4. They are s cheesy and bad that they are brilliant.

What crap films do you love?

I’ve see Failure to Launch @graphista and that reminded me of How To Lose a Guy In 10 Days as well! Matthew McConaughey made some bad choices back in the day.

And yes, Kindergarten Cop, I used to watch it all the time with my brothers when we were young. Arnie reading the AA Milne poem, the schmaltz, the ‘funny’ kids, I love it.

Another one my brothers and I used to watch was Kickboxer with Jean-Claude Van Damme. Pure cheese. I do like more quality films as well but I love a bit of easy watching sometimes.

Has anyone mentioned Empire Records? I loved that film.

I grew up watching Carry On films and still have a soft spot for them.

I remember anEnglish Literature Lecturer I had at University he was Canadian and asked us about them in a tutorial. He was utterly bemused ‘but what is it that is funny about them?!’ Confused

Brothers are to blame for a lot of bad film viewing Grin

I blame mine for watching critters (like gremlins but both scarier and funnier)

Watching Jurassic park and I'd forgotten Samuel l Jackson in it. He's in some cracking "so bad it's good" movies

Die hard with a vengeance
The long kiss goodnight
The negotiator
Out of sight
Unbreakable
S.W.A.T.
Twisted
Kingsman: the secret service
The hitmans bodyguard

Some absolute corkers have been mentioned.

I bloody love the Carry On movies, could listen to Sid James’ dirty laugh all day.

One that hasn’t been mentioned is Maid in Manhattan, with Ralph Fiennes looking utterly swoonsome, falling for chambermaid Jennifer Lopez, in the most unlikely romantic pairing in the history of cinema. So smaltzy and crap it’s brilliant.

The 1970's/ 80's versions of Piranha & Piranha 2 the spawning.... so bad they cross over to epic.

Carry on camping

Home Alone films were dire and I didn't like them but they were popular

Groundhog Day is good but cheesy

Definitely Police Academy
