Crap Films that you love

Ive just spent the last hour on Youtube watching songs from Grease 2, which was my favourite film when I was about 10 and which I watched over and over again. I still remember all of the words Blush. I admit its appalling, but I love it, its like crack to me and if I had to be brually honest I prefer it over the original Grease (which I also love, but its not considered crap is it).

I also love Holiday on The Buses. Which is sexist rubbish obviously but always makes me laugh hysterically. So awful its good and it was filmed in Prestatyn!

Others I love are Supergirl the 1984 version, the 2004 version of Phantom of the Opera and Rocky 4. They are s cheesy and bad that they are brilliant.

What crap films do you love?

Running Man

How did I forget about that on! It was on TV not long ago, so gloriously naff and 80's.

I like On The Buses and the Carry On films but omg they are really bad . I know it. But they make me laugh . I deeply apologise!

woodhill · 07/05/2020 20:16

The Goonies, likely Lads film

PersonalClown · 07/05/2020 20:17

I love a tacky, cheap, crap movie!!
Doom- the Rock and Karl Urban. It's soooo bad, I love it.
Van Helsing too.
Alien v Predator (the 2nd is so bad, I can't watch it all the way through.)
Bring it On: All or Nothing
Street Fighter!!
Drop Dead Gorgeous
and I'll admit to Sausage Party

woodhill · 07/05/2020 20:17

I like those as well

Dontforget

Pelleas · 07/05/2020 20:19

The Poseidon Adventure (original 70s version).

It's a bit of a joke in our house, if we see film characters in peril, to say 'You should have climbed up the Christmas tree!"

JamieLeeCurtains · 07/05/2020 20:21

Oh and not forgetting

Under Seige

This is not the work of a cook

mumwon · 07/05/2020 20:21

Junior - Schwarzenegger & de Vito in the cast -inspired casting & some of the best lines "I am all woman..." gosh that's definitely non pc but so funny
Airplane - so not pc!!!
& another Australian film I think it was called "Strictly Ballroom" ?

MrsGrindah · 07/05/2020 20:23

@Pelleas Love that film!

Mine is Youve Got Mail. Watched it the other day and realised it is both shite and wonderful at the same time!

Livedandlearned · 07/05/2020 20:23

Sharknado is spectacularly crap but funny

nitgel · 07/05/2020 20:23

Oh i love grease 2 as well. Will only watch alone. 'I'll be your girl for all seasons' Grin

ChateauMyself · 07/05/2020 20:24

Oh no, I think some of these are actually good ‘bad’ films as opposed to bad films... - Muriel’s Wedding, Clueless & Poseidon. Quality flicks.

I love a good channel 5 afternoon film or True Movie.

Pyjamasarethenewblack · 07/05/2020 20:25

I would class Muriel's Wedding and The Goonies as excellent films. They are definitely not in the crap film category.

joydivisionovengloves1 · 07/05/2020 20:25

@skinnyhotchoc I love Buster too, and want to watch it right now!

I think all the carry on films are great except the last few when they ran out of ideas! I don't think it's that sexist really, I bet loads of women secretly love a wolf whistle or cheeky bit of innuendo🤣

Bellybootcut · 07/05/2020 20:27

Oh I love Holiday On The Buses. Makes me nostalgic. Also love The Carry On films.

mumwon · 07/05/2020 20:27

Oh & Shaun of the Dead!!!

homemadecommunistrussia · 07/05/2020 20:29

I love The Princess Diaries Blush

ElizabethinherGermanGarden · 07/05/2020 20:29

The Cutting Edge! Early 90s figure skating drama - I love it so much 😂

ElaineMarieBenes · 07/05/2020 20:29

The Tourist

Pelleas · 07/05/2020 20:30

Mutiny on the Buses is good - I always laugh out loud at "Lions can't climb stairs".

Elderflower14 · 07/05/2020 20:31

Another one who loves Loch Ness.... Also What A Girl Wants with Colin Firth...
I found a really cheesy film a couple of years ago called Catch A Christmas Star...
