Crap Films that you love

Ive just spent the last hour on Youtube watching songs from Grease 2, which was my favourite film when I was about 10 and which I watched over and over again. I still remember all of the words Blush. I admit its appalling, but I love it, its like crack to me and if I had to be brually honest I prefer it over the original Grease (which I also love, but its not considered crap is it).

I also love Holiday on The Buses. Which is sexist rubbish obviously but always makes me laugh hysterically. So awful its good and it was filmed in Prestatyn!

Others I love are Supergirl the 1984 version, the 2004 version of Phantom of the Opera and Rocky 4. They are s cheesy and bad that they are brilliant.

What crap films do you love?

Teen witch! It’s currently on Netflix and so crap yet I love it. Haven’t seen it in years

AGirlCalledJohnny · 08/05/2020 00:11

Agree with all the end of the world movies, esp Dante’s Peak and The Day After Tomorrow. I can’t seem to tear myself away when they come on despite all the completely made up science.

Also, one I will always watch - and it’s SHOCKINGLY bad - is Leap Year. I’m Irish and cringed so hard the first time I watched it, but I’ve somehow managed to rewatch several times since. It almost out begorrah’s The Quiet Man. The only thing missing was livestock living in the house 🤦🏻‍♀️ I blame Matthew Goode, the big dirty ride 😄

SinisterBumFacedCat · 08/05/2020 00:15

Alien Autopsy - the Ant and Dec film

AGirlCalledJohnny · 08/05/2020 00:16

Also re The Holiday, I do love watching it at Christmas but I wish they’d cast John Krasinksi, who played one of Cameron Diaz’s assistants, rather than Jack Black as Kate Winslet’s love interest. Would’ve been much breeze ‘meet cute’ and chemistry (clearly have thought about this to much)

yatapina · 08/05/2020 00:16

The Twilight Saga Blush

englebertsausagedog · 08/05/2020 00:17

Ooh I forgot about Leap Year. That's terrible but I always watch it too. Grin

ArgyllFTM · 08/05/2020 00:20

Demolition Man! So cheesy, yet so entertaining

CornedBeef451 · 08/05/2020 00:34

@ForTheLoveOfSleep I love He's just not that into you!

My awful favourite is Jupiter Ascending. It makes no sense, I don't like Channing Tatum, Sean Bean has bees, no idea what's happening, I bloody love it!

CornedBeef451 · 08/05/2020 00:36

@Frangipaniflower I watched Just friends recently, Ryan Reynolds really grew into his face.

TotallyDevotedToYou · 08/05/2020 00:59

Mars Attack. I love how the aliens talk.
And it’s even got Tom Jones in it 😀

GlummyMcGlummerson · 08/05/2020 01:02

Grease 2 is above and beyond better than Grease. Best moment ever - a T-Bird slides down a bowling alley on his knees and shrieks WAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAHAAAAHAAAA before curating at his girlfriend. Brilliant

Redkatagain · 08/05/2020 01:09

Ferris Beuller

Yes to Coyote Ugly and Three Men and a Little Lady! Can’t believe I forgot those two.

More recently I enjoyed Mama Mia 2 which everyone else seems to hate.
