I didn't realise she was due already. Baby boy born this morning!

Well, that's the Daily Mail sorted for the next year or so, then. COVID-19; alternately attack and praise the NHS and keyworkers; how to co-ordinate your outfit when doing housework/garden work; the Royal Family (praise Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge and their family to the skies, continue to vilify Harry and Meghan); and now, BJ 'n' Carrrie's baby.

I do feel sorry for Carrie, though, she's had a lot to cope with the last few months. Hope mum and baby are doing well.

Deleted for calling him exactly what he is?
Get a grip MNHQ

MNHQ have done the right thing. Some of the comments here are disgusting.

@CendrillonSings
More important than what? the decisions of the British government have little bearing on my life - I do not currently even live there. I still think Johnson is a johnson though. Smile

There's an alarming subsect on both sides of the electorate who put colour of allegiance above character and morals

Ain't that the truth ...

Humina · 29/04/2020 13:11

CallmeAngelina, GrinFlowersBiscuit lol. You've made my day. Thank you.

Topseyt · 29/04/2020 13:11

I offer them my congratulations, and I hope that mother and baby are both doing well.

I'm not a Boris fan, but I think it is nice to have some good news for a change.

Prontoe · 29/04/2020 13:12

Boss baby!!

Sky News seem to be suggesting baby is to arrive home soon, so can't be premature if being discharged today?

1forsorrow · 29/04/2020 13:13

According to press reports it was her mother that fought to keep her identity secret? I have not seen any evidence that Boris has denied being her father? Presumably her mother took this action to protect her from media interest but either way I certainly agree it is sad for the girl involved. Was it the other affair he denied then, the one that resulted in an abortion? I know he got sacked for denying one of them.

JellyfishandShells · 29/04/2020 13:16

Congratulations to them both - hope all are well.

justasking111 · 29/04/2020 13:16

I hope no-one on here has ever had the sheer terror of a complicated pregnancy covid related or otherwise. I am just glad the little baby is here safe and sound. That is not always the case.

Roussette · 29/04/2020 13:17

I just don't understand why it is good news?

Great the baby is safely born, yep. I'd wish that for any baby born

But why is it good news. It doesn't affect me, it's no one I know and care about, it's an excuse for Boris to do even less work if that were possible, etc

Humina · 29/04/2020 13:18

Agree Rousette. It's so weird that this is supposed to be good news for the country, a mood lifter. Why?

BiggerBoat1 · 29/04/2020 13:18

God, poor child. Let's just hope Carrie is a good Mother because he's got an amoral man-child as a father.

ducksback · 29/04/2020 13:20

I had a post deleted that quoted one of the foul things that someone ELSE had initially posted. The deletion message clearly shows that. If you unable to understand that then fine but you have made yourself look very silly.

justasking111 · 29/04/2020 13:21

Oh lets just stop bashing the pm. on here go start a political thread somewhere else.

Roussette · 29/04/2020 13:21

Humina It certainly doesn't lift my mood!

If you want good news, try this... this is HUGE. This is what matters

And it's Breaking News and something to lift the spiritis.

It is chat, not aibu.

Great the baby is safely born, yep. I'd wish that for any baby born

So you clearly DO understand why it is good news.

1forsorrow · 29/04/2020 13:24

Roussette that does sound good, I wonder who will get the tests?

BiggerBoat1 · 29/04/2020 13:24

Oh lets just stop bashing the pm. on here go start a political thread somewhere else.

It is only headline news because he is the PM, so it is perfectly valid to point out what a truly terrible PM he is and one of the main reasons he is such a disaster is because the man is a moral vacuum.

Roussette · 29/04/2020 13:24

Good news for a baby to be born safely in the world, but primarily good news for them.
But certainly not a mood lift for me
I don't care about them one jot

MaxNormal · 29/04/2020 13:25

Babies are born every day. It's an absolute irrelevance to anyone who isn't the parents or another close relative or friend.

Roussette · 29/04/2020 13:26

1forsorrow yes it's very exciting, can't wait to hear more on it.

Whereas I don't want to hear about baby Johnson any more now I know he has been born safely

Roussette · 29/04/2020 13:28

Agree MaxNormal It's like hearing about a baby born in Australia or India or the US. Irrelevant to me.

Get on and do your job Boris.
