What do you go for?

(I’m bored, hungry and love a buffet!)

Yes I love a vol au vent. I love all of these things but I haven't had a vol au vent in years. I thought it was just me that liked the guilty pleasure of them! I would like a chicken and mushroom saucey one, a prawn saucey one, and a strange spicy one with mystery meat! What do I mean one? Several. With little lids on.

Then I'll have a glass of champagne attached to my plate with one of those clips.

Plus a mountain of wotsits for good luck.

Dairy-intolerant veggie here, with a couple of other wierd food intolerances.
So salad, houmous, pickles and plain bread. Maybe some crisps, maybe samosas and bhajis.
Last time I went to a buffet lunch they did me plain bread with some salad in it. They'd had 2 weeks notice that I was "nearly vegan" and catering was by an experienced team.

Full Chinese buffet - dim sum,garlic fried veggies, ribs, noodles
Amazing tables of pudding - rows upon rows of teeny tiny cakes, creamy things in shot glasses, ice cream, meringues, chocolate confections, all beautifully presented and so delicious
Cheese section including huge Parmesan wheels
Chocolates in rows - white, dark, milk
Popcorn
Candy floss
Free pour champagne
And just about every other drink, including slushies

Always tried to have a bit of everything but couldn’t fit it in.
I miss those days!
