Fuck I'm excited. Haven't had a chippy dinner in over a month and our local has now reopened for contactless deliveries.

Fuck me, what do I have? Does this justify fish AND a battered sausage?

My fave is mini fish and chips + a pickled onion + a cold drink. Sadly I don't think any of the ones here are open and haven't been for quite a long time. I guess I could try to make it at home but it just doesn't taste anything similar (I do like fish fingers on white bread with butter though).

We were going to get Domino's last night, but they'd removed most of the things we'd usually want on our pizzas from their menu, and I'm not paying that much for a disappointing pizza, so we had sad sandwiches of sadness for dinner instead. I hope your chippy is all you hope it to be!

What about mushy peas? I would love a nice piece of cod, some chips, a slice of bread and butter, mushy peas and a cuppa to wash it down. They call it a pensioner special at our local chippy.

YABVU as I've just spent 30 minutes prepping my lovely slow cooked ragu and now all I want is a bloody fish and chips. THink I'd get fish, chips, side pot of gravy, mushy peas ooooo and maybe a pie too! God I'm hungry.

I haven't had a takeaway in about 2 years! Next week is my lockdown birthday (single parent stuck inside with two boys driving each other and me insane) and I am flipping WELL getting a curry with all the trimmings and an oreos milkshake delivery! can't wait

We did ‘fakeaway’ fish & chips with frozen battered cod, oven chips & tinned mushy peas. It was OK, and probably much healthier than the real thing, but it’s definitely not the same.

I made battered fish, chips, mushy peas and curry sauce for us last week and drowned it in salt & vinegar. It was tasty, but not the same.

I've not had a takeaway for at least 5 weeks and really want one now. I could order something I guess but the children don't like what's available apart from chips. I'm hoping the local Italian starts doing take away soon.
