I’ve had gin and red wine (no, not together!) but no snacks. I need snacks .....

I have to add I made my own kahlua after discovering espresso martinis at a Christmas do, then realised I was too mean to buy tia Maria but had a spare bottle of vodka, a lot of sugar and coffee. There’s a recipe on the bbc for this. The fact I drove to ikea to buy the bottles to store it in, then bought the martini glasses etc. did make me think I was a tad obsessed. Class drink - be wary tomorrow may be....interesting....

I have had three large ones, FNAAAAR (anyone else remember Finbaar Saunders?!) and I think I am going to lay off them now as I am really very warm indeed :o

Aldi 15% Zinfandel - wondered where the hell last night went, now I've read the label, I understand!

We started with a half bottle of Moët (only good bubbles I could find 2 weeks ago) to celebrate a letter coming this morning (our mortgage is paid off!!!) and followed with the single glass of white wine left in the open bottle so emptied a fresh bottle of white also.

Ah I'm jealous. This lockdown would be so much better if I could have alcohol. It's probably a good job I'm pregnant though actually - not sure my liver would survive it. Enjoy!

AMaretto and apple juice is exactly like a bakewell tart, but I can only manage a very small one as they are quite sickly.
