Hello fellow plane spotters!

So I thought Trump had stopped flights to and from Europe but there still seem to be quite a few?

Second point.... anyone know why BA Airbus 319 GEUPD flew Heathrow to Bournemouth yesterday?

1st of July will be an interesting day to look at flight radar

I’ve just had an email from Ryanair saying they are flying 1000 planes a day from then

notimagain · 17/05/2020 08:24

Looking at their fleet size I take it they actually mean 1000 flights

An American military plane has ditched off the East Coast. Loads of planes looking.
Hope everyone is safe.

At a first guess and without looking at the entire flight it looks like a holding pattern based on the Detling VOR/DME "beacon" which is situated under the top RH "corner" on the oval pattern being flown.. might be associated with one of the Biggin Hill arrival or departure procedures but I don't have quick access to their "plates".

In a tweet timed at just before 1400 BST the Lakenheath Base commander stated:

" Search and Rescue effort are currently under way, but the pilot and of the aircraft is still missing"

That's not encouraging, so I'm keeping keeping fingers and toes crossed.

There are two Hawks near Blackpool over the sea. Never seen em before!
