I don’t know if we need to apply the rule relating to bilateral diagonal moves or not in the present circumstances...

We should play by the newest set of rules.

SunInTheSkyYouKnowHowIFeel · 17/03/2020 19:22

Oooo, new rules?! I doubt know these so this one is a wild guess but I'm going to go for Waterloo

Rhubarbe · 17/03/2020 19:24

Jackson opening? Nice.
I’m going to avoid the crowds and go to Barons Court

How does it work? I've never played before. Do you just shout out random Tube stations???

Yerroblemom1923 · 17/03/2020 19:27

Wimbledon!

Charley50 · 17/03/2020 19:32

I don't understand it either.
Bounds Green?

I found my mind wandering earlier to the early days of the war, that marvellous September of blue skies and then all hell breaking loose. Only one word came to mind as I mixed my evening martini; Mudchute

RickOShay · 17/03/2020 19:36

Sloane Square has to be a good call surely?

Canary wharf, is that allowed? I’m not fully acquainted on the most recent incarnation of the rules. Terrible I know.

PaulinePetrovaPosey · 17/03/2020 19:45

I'll invoke the isolation-exemption, and go for Turnham Green.

FenellaMaxwell · 17/03/2020 19:45

Elephant and castle, surely?

PaulinePetrovaPosey · 17/03/2020 19:45

Sorry flop, you can't have Canary Wharf. But Canada Water would work?

Flopjustwantscoffee · 17/03/2020 19:46

It’s not the way I was going to go but I can work with that. Canada water it is then!

goldpartyhat · 17/03/2020 19:47

Can we take a massive gamble and swerve into Paddington Central? I know it's not allowed in the old rule book to take such a deviated route, but I am invoking section IV of the updated manual, and hope it will be allowed?

bellinisurge · 17/03/2020 19:52

So jealous I don't know how to play it. Heard it on the radio for years and I'm still no further.
Grin

Nowisthemonthofmaying · 17/03/2020 19:54

A reverse turn to Shoreditch High Street

bellinisurge · 17/03/2020 19:55

Although I'm guessing I'm trying to hard 😂

Flopjustwantscoffee · 17/03/2020 19:57

Bellini 😄 maybe follow this thread closely? You should be able to pick it up. Although I am not completely au fair with the new rule book myself

OP posts:
CharlieTangoBanana · 17/03/2020 20:00

Belsize Park surely

Charley50 · 17/03/2020 20:03

Y'know I'm really not sure if the intersectionality of this dramatic bygone era is appropriate at this stage; but, dare I say it...?
Aldgate East..

Shineynew · 17/03/2020 20:03

Guys, Given its history, it HAS to be Golders Green, non??

Catting · 17/03/2020 20:05

@CharlieTangoBanana I'm pretty sure parks are now 'under the envelope' because of events.

Flopjustwantscoffee · 17/03/2020 20:12

In which case I believe it’s acceptable to push slightly ahead with a single move to bermondsey... it seems logical if Charlie tango banana wasn’t allowed Belize park
