I don’t know if we need to apply the rule relating to bilateral diagonal moves or not in the present circumstances...

Gosh, you don’t make it easy do you?

Strandliv · 19/03/2020 21:42

As it’s a Leap year, I’m going to throw in Embankment.

TonytheDog · 19/03/2020 21:50

The Madness rules already? Well then it must be Crystal Palace.

Oh good lord I actually need to think about this one - were in a pickle - can’t do the obvious - can’t do standard get out of jail free move - bloody hell ! - Sloane Square.

OneHippoOnThePhone · 19/03/2020 23:43

I applaud you’re bravado Heron. That’s a move I never thought I’d see again. Makes me quite misty eyed. Cough. Anyway.

Settles in to watch - an unusually fast paced game so far.

LefttoherownDevizes · 20/03/2020 10:40

Tries to add in some breathing room - Hainault (loop)

snowy0wl · 20/03/2020 13:29

Phew! Thanks for that Left. I think we have recovered enough to pootle over to Watford.

PaulinePetrovaPosey · 20/03/2020 19:32

Watford!! Not my strategy at all. I'd have liked to stay with the Holepool Convention, but you've forced me into Bow.

OldBean2 · 20/03/2020 22:04

Bow. I think I might have to go to a classic Cryer move, on the diagonal, obs and go South of the river to Pimlico. A tad safe but a bugger to extricate yourself from!

titchy · 20/03/2020 22:28

The loop of course! From Pimlico (inspirational!) I give you Heathrow T4.

FromTheAllotment · 20/03/2020 23:11

Heathrow T4 is not a place of happy memories for me, but still, leaves me the option to play East Putney. And if the Bishop has anything to say about that then I shall get Sister Augusta to have a word with him. It’s the Cavendish biplay and he dashed well knows it.

OneHippoOnThePhone · 21/03/2020 10:48

Hmm, can one Cavendish on the third Saturday in March? I think it’s a grey area but anywho...

Highgate

LefttoherownDevizes · 21/03/2020 11:14

Hmm, you're leaving yourself open with that, am going retrograde isoceles to block with a somewhat risky Tooting Bec

AwrightDoreenTakeAFuckinDayOff · 21/03/2020 12:54

You say Tooting Bec?

Spectacular.

I have to pull out the reincarnation card and say Trinity Road.

And then go for a lie down due to being immortal.

You are welcome.

I do feel that you have overlooked

AwrightDoreenTakeAFuckinDayOff · 21/03/2020 12:55

I do feel you have overlooked? Where did that come from? Confused

titchy · 21/03/2020 13:10

Trinity Road - ah memories (Chez Bruce when it was a cheap and cheerful new restaurant) but I digress.... keeping local, Wandsworth Common.

AwrightDoreenTakeAFuckinDayOff · 21/03/2020 13:32

You stay where you are and don’t be coming near Aldwych.

It is where I kip.

Under ‘what we do in the shadows’ and ‘be gone’ rules. Natch. 🧛‍♀️

OneHippoOnThePhone · 21/03/2020 13:42

No, we are not inviting you in.

snowy0wl · 21/03/2020 19:49

I haven't seen the 'kleeky left-handed' move since the Colonel was accidentally missed off the vicar's tea party invite. That was a dark day .....

Putney Bridge

AwrightDoreenTakeAFuckinDayOff · 21/03/2020 20:00

It is dark. I’ve gorged on the troll under Putney Bridge.

I need no invites to the streets.

I believe that the tea party ended in some sort of skirmish with knitting needle wielding WI members. It got a bit weird until the vicar shoves then in the ambient room.

Off to chill myself now. Destination? Barons Court.

Get it up ye. (Scottish rules in force)

AwrightDoreenTakeAFuckinDayOff · 21/03/2020 20:01

Shoved them. Sheesh 🙄

borntobequiet · 21/03/2020 20:08

In these difficult times - Down Street.

OneHippoOnThePhone · 21/03/2020 20:39

What was that Sven?

Tricksy one there. Something in the chai.
