Looking for a nice spa hotel in England

I was meant to be going abroad for my birthday but flights have been cancelled.
I’m in London so good train connections to most places.
Can anyone suggest somewhere nice for me to go and spend some time with my husband?

During bathroom de clutter I found an unopened bag of Epsom salts (think inherited on clear out of my late mum’s house!?).
I am planning a midday ‘spa’ foot soak appointment (old dish bowl - the glamour!). I may even put dressing gown on and play some kind of white noise track - think for once the ‘balinese bells’ may be my choice.

the scarlett is amazing

Where is the scarlett?

I cant believe nobody is raving about Grantley Hall. My out and out favourite at the moment.

The grove near Watford has an incredible spa and great restaurants. They also just emailed saying they’re being fully flexible on bookings
Also love lime wood (outdoor hot tub) but did not like chewton glen - treehouse was lovely but rest v underwhelming- and insanely ££££

Ragdale is lovely and one of the very first what I would call health farms back in the day. Now we all call them spas. Food is fabulous and rooms lovely.
