Looking for a nice spa hotel in England

I was meant to be going abroad for my birthday but flights have been cancelled.
I’m in London so good train connections to most places.
Can anyone suggest somewhere nice for me to go and spend some time with my husband?

Penyhill park huge disappointment. Kept awake by vermin (not sure what sort) running about above our room.

The Grove is lovely.

Alexander House amazing too.

Ragdale Hall is marvellous for a true spa experience.

The Swan in Lavenham.

I’ve been to Dormy House in the cotswolds a few times and it’s lovely and relaxing. Good food as well

Careys Manor in the new forest is amazing. I prefer it to Chewton Glen. It’s got a wider range of spa facilities.

St Michael's Hotel and spa in Falmouth. Recently revamped, right across the road from the beach and amazing food.

The Grove if you want to be near London or The Scarlet for incredible seaside spa

There's a lovely one in Ambleside Lake District. Nice for a few days stay and close to visit other Lake District attractions

Low Wood Bay near Ambleside is a lovely hotel and has a spa. The staff are very nice and the restaurant Smoke on the Bay is amazing.

The Coniston near Skipton is supposed to be good too.

Fly to Cornwall for the Scarlet. It's incredible.

Penny hill park is my favourite. I also enjoyed Ragdale Hall.

Triple whammy for The Scarlet. Ugh, I miss it!

South London or Ockenden Manor in Sussex are lovely and easy to get to from London.

I’m fed up. I booked Italy months ago and now I’m scrambling around trying to make alternative plans. I know it’s a bit of a first world problem but the last few weeks have been horrible and I really want a nice break.

I’m hearing great things about the Titanic Spa in Huddersfield.

Whittlebury hall in Northamptonshire is beautiful and amazing spa facilities

Have a look at Calcot Manor in Tetbury, Gloucestershire. (I came on to suggest there or Ragdale).
