What do you wish you never googled?

I came across a term that I very stupidly googled. It’s just vile and the mere thought of it makes me nauseous.

Have you ever googled something you wish you hadn’t?

A rare baby facial malformation which was the reason some parents in Italy had abandoned their baby in hospital. It was awful. Poor poor kids. Wow and poor parents.

Blackredblack · 24/02/2020 21:03

@SVRT19674 is that the child who had a skin disorder? I’m sure I remember reading something about it a while ago. I wonder if they found a home for him?

Off to google!

Ah..."1 Man 1 Jar" isn't as vom inducing as "2 Girls 1 Cup" ( just don't )

Toy Box Killer though................ Holy Fecking Shit . He looked so ordinary , like if you ran out of petrol and he offered you a lift to the station you'd say "Thanks mate"

He introduced himself with an audiotape to his victims, telling them what they had to look forward to.
It would be a "Just kill me now , yeah" situation .

Greenteandchives · 24/02/2020 21:41

Munting.
Wtf?

Blackredblack · 24/02/2020 22:04

Oh god, please tell me munting isn’t real, nobody can be that vile 🤢

What's Trypophobia called if you haven't got Trypophobia.Confused Typop.

Legoandloldolls · 24/02/2020 22:18

Eating tarantulas. Deep fried no less!

dancebabydance · 24/02/2020 22:18

I came on here to say blue waffle!

Our teacher at school left his computer on once and left the room and someone searched it and put the picture up in the background. Think he gave the teacher a heart attack when he say it! It's so grim!

Mimishimi · 24/02/2020 22:19

conspiracy theories

Wereallsquare · 24/02/2020 22:24

A horrific crime I cannot wash from my brain. People are capable of evil beyond anything I could ever have imagined. I will never be the same after reading that.

BecauseReasons · 24/02/2020 22:30

I googled the toybox killer. The scariest thing for me is how many accomplices he managed to round up and the conspiracy around it, particularly with regard to law enforcement.

NeverGotMyPuppy · 24/02/2020 22:30

@Wereallsquare I feel the same. I think about it most days and I read about it on here last April. It haunts me.

m00rfarm · 24/02/2020 22:31

Coloured Knobs.
I was focused totally on the door knobs I needed for my repainted kitchen doors and units.

Dieu · 24/02/2020 22:35

@Bringmewineandcake

Thank you! Off to google Urban Dictionary now!

BorneoBabe · 24/02/2020 22:35

I googled a murder case and a horrific photo of the dead body came up on the first page of results. Not even an image search, just the regular search. I still get upset thinking about.

BorneoBabe · 24/02/2020 22:36

Also, "mumsnet". Grin

StuckBetweenDarknessAndLight · 24/02/2020 22:45

Oh god these threads always make me want to google them!

I remember in the early days of FB a male friend posting "2 Girls 1 Cup lol" and lots of his male friends posting lol in reply. So of course I looked it up. I don't think I've been the same since.

TeeniefaeTroon · 24/02/2020 23:13

I wanted to show my son a picture of a caterpillar so googled "hairy granny", didn't quite get what I expected 😂

Wereallsquare · 24/02/2020 23:15

@NeverGotMyPuppy it is awful, isn't it? The reason I cannot stop thinking about it is all the people who participated in the horrific crime are walking around free. Hundreds of people knew what was happening and did nothing. It is truly maddening to think about.

Life can be beautiful, though. Thanks

Knittingnanny · 24/02/2020 23:19

I googled something when I was researching ideas for my new kitchen prior to meeting with my builder. Glory hole. I’m so naive.

Divebar · 24/02/2020 23:27

I was once writing some training about rape investigation and googled some generic image to use in my PowerPoint. I actually came across some crime scene images of a young woman raped and murdered (in fairly recent times). I clicked on the image and discovered it was pinned on someone’s Pinterest board ( full of the most graphic murder images). I was so pissed off that people were pinning these images for entertainment that I invested hours reporting them to Pinterest and getting them removed... sadly you have to report each image and not the boards but it was worth it. People really are disgusting.

wheresmymojo · 25/02/2020 00:13

Gore.com

I saw it mentioned in a post on a forum and stupidly clicked on it thinking it couldn't possibly be as bad as they were saying. It was.

DarkNightDelight · 25/02/2020 00:17

Blue waffle and 2 girls 1 cup

CuriousCapricorn · 25/02/2020 00:30

Victorian death photos- chilling.

They basically couldn’t afford to take pictures when the children were living so when they died they were posed as if still alive, sometimes alone or with the parents and/or siblings. Really sad and I wish I had never seen them.

TwitcherOfCurtains · 25/02/2020 00:51

The photo taken of 14 year old Regina Kay Walters. It was taken after her murderer abducted her, you can see the terror on her face, it's horrible.
There are a few other chilling photos of victims various serial killers/ murderers have taken.
I don't recommend looking them up.
