What do you wish you never googled?

I came across a term that I very stupidly googled. It’s just vile and the mere thought of it makes me nauseous.

Have you ever googled something you wish you hadn’t?

As a result of a thread on here, Tom Jones allegations.

I always thought of him as avuncular and cheesy but now I can't bear to watch him on TV.

It's so sad that some people accused in the #MeToo era seem able to hide behind their lawyers and money while others face justice.

I bought some seed head pot pourri and played with it, put my fingers in the holes etc

So just normal phobia exposure

@AvonCallingBarksdale I suffer with trypophobia. It's hideous!! Patterns and shapes made out of patterns and things with holes in them make me want to vom and that sanex advert ugh let's not even go there 🤢

Some of these are truly awful. The Junko Furuta one Is beyond horrifying.

How do you know you have tryphophobia? I’ve just googled images and I didn’t feel anything. Will I awake in the morning unable to eat onion rings?!

I was looking online for a picture of a small Dutch boy with a finger in a hole in a big dam holding back the North Sea, as a metaphor for a problem I was doing a work presentation on. Can I just say googling “finger in the dyke” did not get me the picture I was looking for.

I kind of want to know what most of these are but I'm scared

The Junko Faruta case scarred me for life and I'm studying forensics so I've got a pretty good tolerance for things like that please heed the warning and DON'T DO IT!

I've been googling away with ones I hadn't heard (or had forgotten about) as I've been reading along and the degloving one made me feel rather queasy.

Cleveland Steamer is another one along the same lines as Hot Carl. I once googled it after it was mentioned on Family Guy. Regretted it after although I don't think it's as bad as some of the others mentioned here now!

When I started the job I had now it involves making flavoured powders. I wondered what the various components tasted like so started googling each one with the works taste after it.
Do not do this on a works computer with the word bromalane.......

I once read somewhere on one of those 'things you should never Google' articles about a Japanese porn/snuff film called 'Tumbling Doll of Flesh' and it haunted me for a long time. It's not real (I had to Google it to reassure myself) but it's apparently very graphic. I never watched the film but reading the plot was horrific enough

@BecauseReasons I had tonsil stones - they are as bad as pictures online. At least with pictures you don't get the smell. OMG the smell of them when I managed to pop one out of my tonsil made me gag.
