Where did your childhood scar come from?

It's on my forehead , after being tripped up by my brother at my grans.

Dent on forehead (only seen if I frown) falling over at a neighbours house as a toddler
Scar on top of foot from hot water bottle blister
Scar on wrist which was a burn - I lost concentration when taking a baking tray out of the oven and watching Harry and Meghan’s wedding at the same time!

Knee - tripping over my flip flops running downhill
Ankle - someone running over it on their Grifter

Upper arm and hand - fell through a glass door when tilting backwards on a chair aged 3 in the early 1970s.

(Mum took me to hospital and Dad came home from work to find blood everywhere and no sign of us )

On my temple. I wAs playing kiss chase and trying to get away from a weird boy and cracked my head on the corner of a wall.

Under chin - from sliding down front door and slamming it on the ledge.

Forehead - cat scratch

Arm - burn

Across my nose. I tripped over and my face landed on the sliding door (OPEN) part at the bottom that was quite sharp and it completely split my nose. So I've now got a scar running across it and it gives my nose a curve... it looks more pointy

Eyebrow - dog bite

Knee - was kneeling in front of a wall of mirrored tiles and when I got up cut my knee on part that wasn't stuck down properly. Bled for absolutely ages.

Forehead looks like a question mark got pushed into a cupboard.
Mark on bum sat on hair straighteners.

I have half an eyebrow, with a scar running through it. Crashed into the curb on my mates moped & went over the handle bars. No helmet on like a twat, was 15. My face was pretty beat up.

Same eye has a kink in the eye lid from surgery to remove a near golf ball size cyst when I was 4.

2inch scar on my head from running & tripping up in woods & banging my head on a concrete pole. Had a butterfly clip in my hair it was the 00s that got half embedded. That one knocked me out!

Left hip at 11 from falling off my bike. Now dwarfed by the enormous bone graft donor scar covering my left iliac crest. My adult scars are horrendous.

Big scar on my right knee. Siobhan, the biggest girl in our class tripped while playing Bulldog, fell on me and surfed me across the gravel playground. All this yellow stuff came out. It was pretty spectacular.

A line up my belly where I leant on the edge of Mum’s iron (she was distracted and I was standing on a stool, reaching for something, trying to “help”). She was mortified! Doctors always want to know what the “operation” was.

A little round indentation scar on my shin, where my brother, arsing around at crazy golf, managed to whack me. There was much bludddd on my yellow trainer!

Left index finger, palm-side.

I was holding a serrated butter knife that I was about to use to eat my dinner with. My dickhead little brother decided he wanted that particular knife, and snatched it out of my closed fist. Blood everywhere.

Finger knuckles, left hand.

I had my hand on the door jamb of our old, heavy, council house back door. My dickhead little brother decided he was so annoyed that he'd deliberately slam that door on my hand. Mangled fingers, blood everywhere.

In short; my little brother is a fucking dickhead.

On my ear from cutting it on a metal sign on a lamppost which I walked into when reading a book I needed five stitches.

Just below bottom lip- Around 4yo I'd seen df shaving and decided to have a go. Climbed onto the bath to get the razor from the cabinet, I have a vague memory of dm holding a tea towel to my mouth to stop the bleeding and the mouth shaped bloody imprints looking like lipstick kisses.

Little finger just above top knuckle- Around 5 or 6yo, I was off school poorly, dm had been ironing, unplugged the iron and put it on the kitchen counter. When she left the room I decided I wanted my Thomas the Tank Engine book which was also on the counter. As I reached past the iron I caught my little finger on the edge of the still hot iron.

Large one across one side of my bum from falling out of a tree and getting stabbed by another branch. Ripped through my shorts and underwear and left quite a deep gash. Couldn't sit down for a few days.

Chemotherapy incisions on my arms, neck and chest.

A scissor related scar on my index finger from year 5

Scars on one knee and my elbows from running down a slopes gravel path at a French zoo 30ish years ago. I remember being told not to run, did it away. I didn’t enjoy the wounds being cleaned or the tetanus shot.

I have two chicken pox scars on my face, one forehead, one on my eyelid.
A scar on my eyebrow from running away from my brother, turning to go down the stairs to fast and headbutting the newel post.
A v shaped scar on my chin from falling over at school land landing on the corner of a table. Also at primary school, got a lump of hit glue on my finger, picked it off and a load of skin came with it. I was 8, why were we allowed to use hot glue?
I also have a faint canula scar on my left hand from being hospitalised with severe asthma aged 4. I can only really remember being very angry about it as I am left handed!
Biggish scar on my knee from falling over on a metal drain cover at school. Probably wouldn't be visible if I hadn't been such a terrible scab picker as a child.
