Where did your childhood scar come from?

It's on my forehead , after being tripped up by my brother at my grans.

No scar but a smashed front tooth when my arm slipped as I climbed out the swimming pool. I can still hear the sound.

Scar in my hairline. Hit my head on the artex in my grandparents living room (most 70s injury ever).

Small one under my nose from falling off my bike

One on my knee from from falling off hobby horse (that one really bled) Probably a few others

As adult burn mark on my left boob having accidentally set myself on fire on gas hob. One on right index finger from dog bite

Got knelt on by a kneeling bus. Big scar on my shin which in hindsight my parents probably should have taken me to get stitched.

Scar above my left cheek. I tripped in the living room with a pencil in my hand and it lodged itself in my cheek. Took 2 operations to get it out.

Middle finger from having it shut in friend’s cupboard during her 2nd or 3rd birthday

Elbow from neighbour’s child pushing me down three concrete stairs ... that was bloody painful !

Eye from sticking my face in the cat’s basket ... he was understandably upset and swiped at my eye . Pink line under my tear duct.

Lip from falling off scooter

Underarm has a huge keloid scar from having a mole removed ... never healed up well - thirteen years ago now .

HorseMaiden your mouth injury has made me feel very odd. I have always told my children not to run with things in their moths, but now I will be taking things away if they don't stop.

I have a burn scar on my arm from spilling a boiling hot pot noodle on it. Funny now but was a nasty burn at the time. It was my first ever pot noodle, I haven't had one since but the kids eat them all the time.

Corner of my mouth - my cousin hit me with a vhs case in an argument over whether or not we were going to watch Sesame Street. I was 5, he was 3 and a little shit (love him now but god he was a brat as a kid).

Hand - smacked it into an open microwave door, the bits that stick out and click into the actual microwave to keep it securely closed. Barely bled at the time but left a cracker of a scar.

Forehead, fell over playing musical statues

I have a scar under my left eye from another child clawing my face at playgroup in about 1982.

one on my forearm chicken pox, one on the skin between my thumb and forefinger was because i climbed a wall as a child and slit the skin open on a piece of sharp slate, one on my leg was because of barbed wire and one of my knee wax because I fell once and kept falling and ripping off the scab several times.

Chin - fell off a bike and landed on my chin.

Also plenty chicken pox marks all over.

Top lip just midway between lip and nose - whacked with a bat while playing rounders in primary school nearly 50 years ago.

@MoreRainbowsPlease yes I was lucky that it didn't go backwards and pierce my throat, quite frankly! I would have been about 3, I can remember being bundled into my mum's mini with tea towels shoved in my mouth, and the aftermath picking food out of the stitches - I was in hospital for days and the scar goes across my whole mouth in a Y shape!

Above my top lip after being mowed down (age 2) by my much older boisterous siblings playing chase. Originally the scar was from my right nostril around my mouth but over time it's just from nostril to lip!

On cheek, from midwife's uncut nail. It's very small now.

That section of skin below your eyebrow and above your eyelid - cut open rolling off the bed and catching it on the corner of DP's bedside table at about 11mnths.

Small burn mark on the back of my hand after getting hold of an unattended curling iron off a counter in a hair dressers at about 2yrs

Also have a ripped/torn lip frenulum from where DF pulled a jumper over my head and didn't undo the buttons (but you can't see that unless I actually lift up my top lip etc)

Middle of scalp - pick axe (lucky would be an understatement)
Inbetween eyebrows - piece of coal (again wrong place wrong time)
Forearm - sister nipping me when she was younger

On my ribs, from leaning on some broken glass on top of the garden wall.

I have loads. One near my eye from a neighbours dog and one on my finger from washing a glass that broke when i was washing it. Must be almost 30 years ago. Also got quite a few from operations but they are quite outing.

Forehead due to narcolepsy fell asleep standing hit my head on the door.
Leg fell on a stick in the ground sticking up and it took a chunk out.
Both elbows from falling off a bench backwards.
I also have chicken pox scars in a few places
