It's on my forehead , after being tripped up by my brother at my grans.

OP posts:

On my hand - bitten by family dog (who was jumping up in excitement and "grabbed" me.

Also have a scar on my tongue - fell at school and put my teeth through it.

Pipandmum · 21/02/2020 19:59

I watched my gym teacher throw a knife into the ground. So went home, got a steak knife and tried to do the same. Sliced my little finger up. Had to pretend to my parents that I hit a tree on my bike (which I'd be surprised they accepted as no other bruises or injuries). Must have been about ten.

AtMyDesk · 21/02/2020 20:00

Another chicken pox scar on my eyebrow

ChicChicChicChiclana · 21/02/2020 20:06

I have a small scar from when I was aged 4 just above my right eyebrow. It was caused by me tripping and bashing my face on a pointy stone that was used as edging in a flower bed in our garden.

Weirdly, my older brother has a scar in exactly the same place, caused by exactly the same thing. You'd have thought the parents would have removed the stone or turned it the other way up wouldn't you?

mathanxiety · 21/02/2020 20:12

Forehead. A neighbourhood dog and I both went for the same frisbee. Neither of us managed to catch it.

mathanxiety · 21/02/2020 20:13

And I still have grit from a hockey pitch under my left knee.

Casino218 · 21/02/2020 20:26

Inner elbow scar. After hurtling off my home made skateboard. I remember saying to my mum'look you can see my bone'.

user127819 · 21/02/2020 20:41

Several small puncture scars on my left ring finger - attacked by a gerbil.

vampirethriller · 21/02/2020 20:46

Wonky little finger, a goose broke it

Broken nose from a frisbee in the face

Big dent in right thigh from falling into a chicken coop and landing on the water trough

Three little scars left knee from a Jack Russell.

Leg- School trip to the park. - A right angle of metal in the ground that was about right height - rainy day + balancing competition with school mate. -lost balance caught my leg on said metal and cut my leg open to the bone. Teachers had to tuck flesh back into the wound and cover with a tea towel while I got rushed to hospital. - told my parents I cut it on a wooden parking log that have a V shape cut into it because I was terrified that I would get tetanus and have to have my leg amputated 😂 would have rather my leg get tetanus and rot away by itself than tell them I cut it on metal and have to have it removed.. so my 9 year old brain told me. Idiot girl.

WhatDoIDooDIoDtahW · 21/02/2020 20:47

It is however, in the shape of a large Nike tick so I’m a walking advertisement now

JKScot4 · 21/02/2020 20:47

On kneecap after getting my foot caught in a rabbit hole and landing on a broken bottle at 4 😞

DobbyTheHouseElk · 21/02/2020 20:49

Face-dog bite. (Eye and cheek)

Forehead-slide at a 80’s playground before we had safety flooring.

HeyMicky · 21/02/2020 20:52

I think I answered this same question on twitter yesterday

  1. Climbing the curtains pretending to be Spiderman
  2. Playing catch and strip

Both vair on brand

DramaAlpaca · 21/02/2020 20:53

Eyebrow. Fell down grandparents' rockery chasing a ball and gashed myself on a pointy rock. I was seven, I can remember it in detail including my mother's shock when I was brought home from the hospital all stitched up, because nobody had told her what happened.

hopeishere · 21/02/2020 20:55

Head - jumped off a top bunk when everyone (older) abandoned me. Thanks guys!

Chin - slipped in the bath.

Knee - fell on a chunk of glass from my uncles car window that smashed when a slate fell from our roof in a storm when he was staying with us.

Cinderemma · 21/02/2020 20:55

I've a scar on my chin from hitting the handbrake when my dad had a crash, I was about 4. It was back in the day when there were no rules on seatbelts in the back of a car.
I've a scar on my knee from running home from school and falling and landing on a broken glass bottle.

TheCanyon · 21/02/2020 20:58

All 3 from about the same age. Holes in forehead from bending over a desk right into a pencil tidy, dd always puts her pencils led up and it gives me the shudders 25 years later.

Another pencil related incident, lead stuck on my hip/saddlebag.

Burn on my mid spine from a celing light above a bunkbed on brownie holiday.

15 counts as a child right? A semi circle scar over the fatty bit on the inside of kneecap from smashing a vodka bottle when trying to reach it off a high shelf.

Frazzled2207 · 21/02/2020 21:02

I spilled almost boiling hot milk on my torso and arm aged about 13. Torso healed, arm was worse and did not- burn caused a huge blister which later solidified (yuk). Aged 16ish I had it taken out and have a scar from that surgery.

mimiasovitch · 21/02/2020 21:05

I always do well when comparing scars Grin

Right arm - scar from falling through glass door
Knee- fell on gravel
Hand- bitten by pet rat
Chin - bitten by dog
Left arm, chest and stomach- scarring from massive scald as a toddler.
Inner thigh - weirdly textured following skin grafts.

TheCanyon · 21/02/2020 21:05

Ah forgot the most obvious ones, a scar running from the corner of my eye to hairline and a vertical scar bout 5mm wide running through the widest eyebrow part

ChiefClerkDrumknott · 21/02/2020 21:08

On my wrist, right next to my artery. Fighting with another child and put my arm through a glass door panel when she shut the door and put her foot against it. Had quite a few stitches and still have the scar over 30 years later. It would sometimes produce a bit of crusted blood for around 10 years afterwards 🤮

confusedandemployed · 21/02/2020 21:08

I have a burn on my forearm. When I was 6 months old my mother was carrying me and picked up a pan of boiling water. Just as she thought "This is really stupid" and went to put it down, I fell out of her arms into said water. I was wearing one of those elasticated cardies so my skin was ruched up...46 years later it's still ruched! She was, obviously, devastated and the guilt stayed with her til she died. I always thought it was pretty cool.

1, Age 2. I have 3 inch scar across my neck, luckily in the crease of skin, abcess, popped up when we were on a day out, size of a lemon by the time we got to hospital. -I remember the smell and the nurses

  1. A week later, a scar at the corner of my eye, I fell on the metal coal bucket next to the fire, lots of blood apparently I have no memory of that one. Turns out it wasn't just the skin, but I have a nice scar across my cornea that matches it.
