Where did your childhood scar come from?

It's on my forehead , after being tripped up by my brother at my grans.

Eyebrow. Needed stitches after a girl hit me in the head with a racquet while playing with one of those balls attached to a pole that swing around.

I have a scar on my finger from when I was bitten by my best friend from schools hamster. We were minding the hamster while my friend was on holiday. She did tell me she was a biter.

On my forehead: my sister hit me with a sweeping brush

On my finger: I was messing with a sharpened kitchen knife

On my wrist: I slammed the door in an argument with the above sister. I put my hand on the non-safety pane of glass, slammed the door as hard as I could and when it stopped, my hand went through it! The neighbours took me to hospital!

I was standing on a small log that we had for the rabbits to nibble on and it toppled over and took me with it. There was a piece of wire sticking out of the rabbits hutch which went right up my side. No medical attention was sought apart from the next door neighbour who stuck a dressing on it. Probably why I have a scar as think these days it would have been glued back together.

Chin: as a baby, something to do with my parent's brass bed

Left arm: eight years old, attacked by next doors cat - no one believes me because they are such a deep, straight scars

Eye socket, car crash, had to be resuscitated age 3!

Right knee from messing around on a water slide and splitting it open
Right hip from a carpet burn caused by my Dad dragging me across the room
Left foot from my Brother hitting my foot with a spade when he was trying to dig a hole on the beach..

Eyebrow, my cousin slammed a door in my face and split it open.

Wrist, a friend of mine used to nip people until they bled if they annoyed her. Apparently I annoyed her.

Knee, I knealt down beside a friend's baby sister's pram and sliced it open on an exposed piece of metal.

Other knee, was running around the brick parquet outside my childminder's house, tripped and landed on an uneven part.

Forehead - glass bottle broken over it.
Back of head - stone threw at it.
Knee - fell over into coal dust.

Wrist from where I fell out of bed and caught my wrist on the broken plastic handle on a chest of drawers.
Thumb from where we were making Lino cuts at school. My hand slipped and I gouged a trench into my thumb from just below the nail to the knuckle with the cutting tool.

lower leg, 6 inch scar where i ripped it open on one of those old tennis racket straighteners.

Knees from constantly falling off my bike

On right hand, cat scratch from when I was 3.

Surgical scar from Pyloric Stenosis surgery when I was 3 weeks old. It’s horrible as it’s a keloid scar which stretched as I grew.

Left knee - Aged 7 the first time my step-grandad took us out by himself he took us to a fair. He let me go on the go karts and I crashed into a wall and skinned my knee to the bone. Poor man had to find a phone to ring my mum and explain!

Head, chickenpox.

Upper arm, got a tree branch stuck in my arm whilst running around a forest as a teen with a bunch of friends.

Bum cheek, a friend whacked me on the bum with a 2l bottle of cola. It hurt. I now have this indent about vthe size of a 50p in my bum cheek which feels funny if you press it and is sort of hollow like it won't lay down any fat in that area or something. It's difficult to describe.

Leg, fell off a quad bike and smashed my shin on rocks. Also damaged my mum's sapling tree at the same time. She was much more concerned about the tree than the big gaping wound on my leg.

Hand, put it through a shed window when being goalie. I wasn't very good at football.

I actually don’t have any 😬 which is odd considering I was a crazy kid!!

I’ve got a strong stomach...but some of these descriptions are making me cringe
But also glad to know I wasn’t the only accident prone child

Pinky finger got the tip chopped off when my brother slammed the door on it😣

Bump on forehead : cannot remember, which might partly be due to concussion
Bump on bridge of nose: I think that was me scrapping with my brother, his head made contact with my nose.

Didn't go to A+E for either.

On my finger - making arrows out of elder sticks, and cutting notches in the ends with a hedge lopper - my hand slipped!

Eyebrow where my brother pushed me when we were on the top bunk and I hit the corner of the wardrobe.

Back of my head where my cousin and I were playing superman (She was holding me up with her feet), I tickled her with a ribbon and she kicked me off. I whacked my head on the corner of the toy box and it bled like anything all over the new cream carpet. I didn't go to hospital, but 10 year later an x-ray for another head injury showed an old skull fracture presumably from this accident.

Shin, tripped over the step in my nan's conservatory and chipped the bone. There is still a depression at the front of my leg.

Elbow, was running into my mum's room and tripped up the step, hit elbow on the corner of a bookcase. Should have had stitches but my mum at the time was absolutely exhausted (single mum to 2 kids with health problems) and didn't feel well enough herself to take me. It healed eventually.

My big brother has an awesome scar on his forehead from when I cracked him on the head with a rock when we were little. I vaguely remember doing it, I was about 4 or 5 year old. No idea why I hit him though as we were happily making mud cakes in the garden

Face, chicken pox.

Back - I dived through a barbed wire fence when being chased by a bull

Oh and I forgot the scar on my hand from being bitten by my mum's rabbit. It was one of those massive white rabbits that were very common in the eighties and I think had an aggressive streak. Even my parents just used to open the door and throw food in at it as it attacked everyone so god knows why I decided to stroke it.
