A lot of abused people don't want to press charges against their abuser . She also allegedly abused a previous boyfriend.

All celebrities court the media to their own advantage. Sadly she was arrested and the media reported on that. That was weeks ago and yesterday’s news. Caroline was clearly troubled, the press and social media cannot be blamed for that. We are in control of our actions and lives. Sadly Caroline is no longer with us.

@AnotherDFSsale Exactly. Noone knows the full details of all of that side of things. Whatever happened, the way she was treated by the media was horrendous and there was without a doubt a strong gender aspect to the coverage.

I don't agree with this comment. She was evidently very depressed and unwell. But the idea that the domestic violence story should not have been reported is dangerous and doesn't hold any water.

No one knows what happened between her and her boyfriend but I strongly believe everyone deserves a second chance. I would have hoped that she could have got through this period in her life and found happiness.

Cue people clamouring over themselves to let us know that they don't know who she is

Tragic - I'm not a fan & I think she's behaved strangely at various times over the last 10 years but the double standards & the hysteria have been horrendous with the DV issue.

I feel sorry for victims of domestic abuse. Which is why, hopefully, her boyfriend will get help to not feel responsible/guilty for this, to counteract the gaslighting domestic abuse victims suffer.
