Been geeking this morning on the number of flights having to go around

Noticed several Gatwick and Luton flights diverting to Stanstead

Check out DI7018 JFK- Gatwick

Two attempts at Gatwick, seemed to be heading for Stanstead, but now the Norwegian airlines crew seem to be taking everyone home with them!

Yep @TabbyStar it's on final approach at Doncaster now. It took an odd route to get there though! I wondered if it was heading for Manchester at one point bit then it turned East suddenly.

It was in the Ockham stack, the routed over to come into the approach 'line'

Planes seem to be landing okay again at Luton, though the Dublin one took a very circuitous route and ended up at Stansted.

Wonder if we might get Big Jet Tv tomorrow!

Oooo hello! I'm a newbie at flight radar. I was watching one heading into Luton on weds afternoon that said 'blocked' regarding where it came from and where it landed. Could see from its flight path where it had come from, though. What does blocked normally signify?

Nothing really. It just means FR24 doesn't know. A lot of the biz jets are blocked.

Looks like the Vueling BCN- LGW has just aborted 3rd attempt into lgw- the winds really picking up here now
