Daft things you're excited about

I bought some delightful heritage eggs today. Two blue, two white and two brown from rare breed hens.

I know it's absolutely ridiculous but they make me so happy. The blue ones are so pretty!

So what silly or daft thing has made you happy today?

For me, today I nailed a clinical skill I've been working on. I may have done a little victory dance

Oh yay! Learning something new is always great.

Planning a purge of my bedroom this weekend. I feel like I've got masses of stuff I just don't need any more.

Getting into bed with fresh sheets and knowing you haven't got an alarm set for the next morning

@QuestionableMouse wow that looks like so much cheese? I love cheese but is that not loads?! Lol I love a boiled egg too, yours sounded delicious! (Not the cooling in the fridge bit though, as a rule you shouldn't cool anything in fridge as it raises the temp? Maybe I am overly cautious though?!)I love this thread 🌸

I’ve bought a new brand of liquid weight chalk, I’m genuinely excited about trying it tomorrow. I phoned my boyfriend at lunch and bored him to death talking about it!

Getting home and taking my bra off, it is the best feeling ever

Getting home from a night duty and standing under hot shower. As hot as I can. It just seems to wash the shit and stress of the night away.

Wasn't that much cheese really, two slices from a normal block.

And I ended up not eating it because I'd somehow picked crunchy cheese up which is 🤢🤢🤢

Finishing a book makes me excited. Firstly because I have the joy of the conclusion to the story, and secondly because I have the excitement of choosing a new book.

I get excited at new pattern books- thinking about things I could make. It’s not so much the making....just the possibilities. I’m really just here for the Pom Pom though.

I was happy with my new pom pom maker and the one i made was golf ball sized! so excited about the monster pom

oh my goodness that pompom! I'm in the middle of knitting a baby blanket that is so tedious but very lovely. It is the same pattern over and over and over and.... Cannot wait until it is done.

I may just have to make pom poms instead.
